JOB OVERVIEW

Local Foreigner is a boutique consultancy specializing in high-end curated travel. From the bespoke to the basics, we guide our clients on everything from a weekend in Paris to an expedition to Patagonia. Our mission is to deliver highly personalized travel experiences through thoughtful service and a seamless planning process.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Administrative Coordinator to support day-to-day operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is a unique opportunity to join a small, collaborative team in a supportive but demanding work environment.

COMPENSATION

Training period (4–6 months): $5/hour + monthly internet allowance
Post-training: $6/hour + monthly internet allowance

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time (40 hours per week)
Typical schedule: 9 PM – 5 AM Philippine local time (aligned with EU/US hours)
Flexibility to support US weekend hours is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

All Administrative tea ---------- mbers are cross-trained and support a range of operational and travel support-related tasks, including:
Responding to Help Desk tickets for internal and affiliate teams
Managing shared inbox and phone inquiries
Scheduling supplier meetings
Supporting recruitment lifecycle including corresponding with candidates and arranging interviews
Updating internal Salesforce database (contacts, suppliers, and other related materials)
Supporting the A/R collection processes
Creating and updating client travel documents (itineraries, rate checks)
Drafting and updating SOPs and other internal documentation
Providing administrative support to partners and senior leadership
Assisting with ad-hoc projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS

Proficient in Microsoft Office; Confluence, Jira, Salesforce and QuickBooks experience is a plus
Experience in an administrative, virtual assistant, or similar support role
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proactive, resourceful, and able to problem-solve independently
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Team player with the ability to work independently
Previous experience in a travel support or travel operations role is a plus
Experience with Sabre or other GDS systems is a plus
