Who We Are
Rareform Audio and Black Sheep Music are a combined music and audio post production house specializing in music for movie trailers, ads, film, and TV. We create music for the biggest campaigns in the world and we hold ourselves to an obsessive standard of excellence. We don't half-ass anything and we don't settle for good enough when great is possible.
The Role (20-40 hours per week)
This is a support role that requires a sharp, trustworthy, and highly adaptable person. Our world moves fast and the tasks are rarely the same twice. You will receive direction — often via a quick video walkthrough — and your job is to take it from there.
Getting things wrong in a music catalog environment is not a minor inconvenience. It creates real damage. We need someone who understands that accuracy and attention to detail are non-negotiable, and who takes that responsibility seriously without needing to be reminded.
What You'll Do
- Update and manage song metadata across our music catalog
- Handle music catalog requests and management tasks
- Assist with client outreach and communications
- Weekly LinkedIn connection building and outreach
- Handle miscellaneous payment and finance related tasks
- Pick up new tasks quickly as they arise — this list will grow and change
What We're Looking For
- Sheer intelligence and the ability to pick things up fast
- Exceptional attention to detail — especially when working with catalog data
- Strong written English — clear, professional communication at all times
- Trustworthy and dependable — you will have access to sensitive catalog and financial information
- A problem solver who figures things out rather than waiting to be told every step
- Proactive communicator — if something is unclear you ask once, smartly, then move forward
- Comfortable with ambiguity — not every task will come with a detailed manual
