If so, AAA Forklifts is looking for a full-time **Accounts Receivable Specialist (Virtual Assistant)** to support our growing team.

As our Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll play a critical role in maintaining healthy customer accounts, processing payments, following up on outstanding balances, and supporting our accounting operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As our Accounts Receivable Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

* Reviewing customer accounts and monitoring outstanding balances
* Contacting customers regarding overdue invoices and payment status
* Sending invoice copies, account statements, and payment reminders
* Processing customer payments and documenting transactions
* Updating customer account records accurately and promptly
* Responding to customer billing inquiries via phone and email
* Following up on past-due accounts according to company procedures
* Maintaining detailed collection notes and communication records
* Assisting with account reconciliations
* Monitoring shared email inboxes and responding to accounting-related inquiries
* Coordinating with internal departments regarding invoice questions and payment issues
* Preparing reports on outstanding balances and collection efforts

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

* Previous Accounts Receivable, Collections, Bookkeeping, Customer Service, or Administrative experience
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to professionally discuss payment-related matters with customers
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
* Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace
* Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Preferred:

* Experience with QuickBooks Online
* Experience handling collections or commercial accounts
* Experience working with service-based companies
* Intermediate Excel skills including filters, sorting, and basic formulas
* Understanding of accounting principles and AR processes

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Success in this role may be measured through:

* Number of customer accounts reviewed weekly
* Outstanding balance reduction
* Collection activity completed
* Customer response rates
* Payment processing accuracy
* Timely follow-up on overdue invoices
* Accuracy of account documentation

COMPENSATION

* Starting pay: $6.00 - $7.00 per hour, based on experience
* Full-time remote position
* Performance review after 30 days
