== THE POSITION ==
As the Accounting VA for a fast-growing accounting firm, you’ll play a key role in supporting the company’s financial operations and ensuring accuracy across all accounting processes.
Your primary focus will include managing accounts payable and receivable, categorizing transactions in QuickBooks, performing bank and credit card reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities. You’ll also assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining clean, accurate financial records.
You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure timely reporting and smooth day-to-day operations. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in accrual-basis accounting with strong QuickBooks proficiency, this is your opportunity to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced organization.
-> Requirements:
• Solid accounting experience is a must, with a strong emphasis on accrual-basis accounting.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or any similar accounting platform is required.
• Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to analyze data and exercise sound judgment.
• Available to work full-time (40 hrs/wk).
• Can work during standard US business hours.
• Fast, stable internet connection (Minimum download speed 10 Mbps)
• Working computer/laptop (Minimum Requirement: Processor - Intel i5 or equivalent, RAM - 8GB).
• Backup power source or work location for power outages.

• Experience working with the following tools is preferred: Outlook, MS Excel, Slack, ClickUp, Sage, NetSuite,
-> Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Review and accurately categorize bank and credit card transactions in QuickBooks
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoice creation, payment application, and customer account reconciliation
• Process accounts payable such as vendor bill entry, purchase order matching, and vendor account maintenance
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded
• Prepare balance sheet and general account reconciliations
• Create and post recurring and adjusting journal entries, including accruals and allocations
• Assist in validating financial data and performing basic variance analysis
• Support month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
