If you enjoy finding the mismatch, getting an invoice right and leaving records others can rely on, bring that care to Luxo Living's accounting team. We are an Australian furniture and homewares retailer looking for a Philippines-based, full-time Accounting Assistant.

Salary: PHP 40,000–50,000 per month, based on relevant experience and capability.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Maintain billing records and generate and issue invoices.
- Record customer payments and reconcile them against the correct accounts.
- Check and process supplier invoices, identifying duplicates, missing details or amount discrepancies.
- Reconcile bank and credit card transactions and follow up unmatched items.
- Keep accounts receivable records and supporting documents organised and up to date.
- Help maintain reseller accounts and resolve account enquiries and discrepancies with the team.
- Support routine accounting and finance administration, keeping clear notes on outstanding items and escalating issues that need review.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING — ESSENTIAL
- Practical payroll skills and hands-on payroll experience, including checking timesheets, payroll calculations and employee pay records for accuracy.
- Relevant hands-on accounting, bookkeeping or finance-administration experience, with examples of the work you personally completed.
- An understanding of invoices, payments and reconciliations, and a careful approach to checking financial details.
- Confidence using spreadsheets/Microsoft Office and accounting software; tell us which systems you have used.
- Clear written and spoken English, dependable follow-through and the ability to organise work to meet deadlines.
- Discretion with confidential financial information and the judgement to ask when something does not look right.
- Based in the Philippines and available for full-time work.

HELPFUL, NOT ESSENTIAL
- Experience supporting an Australian business, including Australian payroll support.
- Accounting or a related qualification.
- Retail/eCommerce, reseller-account or customer-service experience.

TRAINABLE / COMPANY-SPECIFIC
You do not need prior knowledge of Luxo Living's internal billing and reseller workflows. Bring sound accounting fundamentals and a willingness to learn our processes. This ad does not require CPA status, tax-advisory expertise or independent ownership of the entire finance function.

Working hours: 40 hours per week. Daily schedule and engagement details will be discussed during recruitment.
