JOB OVERVIEW

Nestoria Estates is hiring a reliable accountant to manage accounting for our short term rental portfolio across Canada and the US.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile Airbnb, VRBO, ---------- , Guesty, and bank payouts.

• Identify missing, delayed, or unreleased payments.

• Prepare and review monthly homeowner statements in Guesty.

• Set up and manage monthly client and homeowner payments.

• Track purchases, receipts, maintenance costs, cleaners, and third party vendor expenses.

• Charge applicable expenses back to homeowners and clearly report expenses paid by Nestoria Estates or any claims payout received.

• Reconcile bank accounts and confirm expected funds were received.

• Monitor and setup Canadian and US taxes, including applicable STR taxes.

• Maintain accurate property level and company accounting records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Experience with Canadian and US accounting.

• Strong reconciliation, payment processing, and financial reporting experience.

• STR, property management, hospitality, and Guesty experience required.

• Excellent English communication.

• Highly reliable, organized, and detail oriented.
