JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and help keep our finances clean, accurate, and compliant. You’ll be the go-to person for managing accounts, preparing reports, and making sure everything balances out. If you love numbers and enjoy looking at financial data, this role is for you.

Your Responsibilities:
• Handle day-to-day financial transactions.
• Reconciling general ledgers, bank statements and balance sheets.
• Analyzing financial data/documents and managing employee or business expenses.
• Prepare closing journal entries, adjustments and monthly Financial Schedules.
• Prepare financial statements for management, shareholders and tax reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, legal and regulatory requirements, tax filing and documentation.
• Process payroll and managing payments, taxes and benefits.
• Organize and archive documents.
• Support CFO in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Collaborate with teams across the company in securing accurate documents and correct details.
• Conducting internal expense audits to check discrepancies.
• Maintaining internal controls and accounting systems to support accuracy and prevent fraud.
• Handle any related tasks relevant to job assigned by the management.

Who we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or business-related field.
• Proven 3-5 years’ experience in full cycle accounting and bookkeeping.
• Experience in Tax Preparation and filing preferably in TaxAct.
• Strong, independent and confident to own the accounting end to end function.
• Proficient Accounting Software preferably Xero.
• Excellent Attention to details and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly.

Nice to have:
• Have a CPA, CMA, CA certification or working toward it.
• Experience with US companies or clients.
• Experience in Financial Analysis and Financial Planning Reports.
• Proficient in Accounting, ERP, Payroll and Tax Software. (Gusto, Xero, Quickbooks,TaxAct etc.)
