It is a step we ask everyone to complete. This is a client-facing role - you will be the face of CUSTOMDOMAIN to the platform teams we work with, and those teams are on LinkedIn. Following the page means you will know our product and our voice before your first conversation with us, which makes that conversation better for both of us. When you apply, just include the name on your LinkedIn profile so we can match it up.

WE ARE HIRING 5 PEOPLE FOR THIS ROLE
This is not a single backfill. We are in an aggressive growth push, we are onboarding new platforms faster than one person can support them, and we are building the whole customer-facing team at once.
What that means for you:
- You will be trained alongside other new account managers instead of being dropped in alone
- The integration playbook is being written right now, and what you learn with real platform teams goes into it
- We are building a team, which means senior and team-lead seats open up from the inside
- We would rather hire five people and grow the ones who click than hire one and hope
If you want a quiet role at a company that is not changing, this is not it. If you want to be early in something being built, keep reading.

WHAT CUSTOMDOMAIN ACTUALLY DOES - IN PLAIN LANGUAGE
Say you build a website on a platform like Framer, Webflow, Squarespace, or one of the new AI site builders. You finish it, and now you want it to live at
Right now the platform tells you: "go into your domain registrar and add these CNAME and TXT records." A lot of people have no idea what that sentence means. They get it wrong, they get stuck, or they give up entirely.
That one step is where platforms quietly lose customers, and it generates a large share of their support tickets.
CUSTOMDOMAIN makes it disappear. We connect to the customer's registrar and write those records for them - scoped, signed, and verified with the DNS provider - then clean everything up precisely when a domain is disconnected. The customer clicks a button and the domain just works.
WHO OUR CUSTOMERS ARE:
Platforms whose users bring their own domain - website and AI app builders, no-code tools, newsletter and CMS platforms, e-commerce, registrars and DNS providers. Our customer is a company, and the people you work with day to day are their product, engineering, and support leads.
------------------------------------------------------------
THE ROLE: ACCOUNT MANAGER
You own the platform relationship after the deal is signed: get them integrated, get their end users activating, keep them happy, help them grow.
What makes this role interesting is that you are not just keeping someone happy - you are watching a number. Our entire pitch is that more of their users successfully connect a domain. You are the person who can see whether that is actually happening, and who raises it early when it is not.
A NORMAL DAY LOOKS LIKE:
- Running onboarding for new platform customers: kickoff, integration checklist, timeline, go-live
- Being the single point of contact for each account - you are the person they message
- Coordinating between the customer's product and engineering team and ours during integration
- Tracking activation and health: are their end users actually connecting domains successfully?
- Triaging issues, escalating the technical ones clearly, and owning the follow-up until it is closed
- Writing crisp recaps, next steps, and status updates after every call
- Running check-ins and renewal conversations, and surfacing expansion opportunities early
- Building and maintaining onboarding docs, FAQs, and walkthrough videos
- Keeping the CRM current: health, open issues, contacts, renewal dates
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN 90 DAYS:
- Month 1 - you can explain our integration and the DNS problem behind it to a non-technical person
- Month 2 - you are the named contact on live platform accounts and integrations are landing on schedule
- Month 3 - you are tracking activation numbers per account and raising problems before the customer does
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Excellent written and spoken English - you will be on calls with US and international platform teams
- 1+ year in account management, customer success, technical support, or client services
- Technically curious. You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be willing to understand DNS records, domain verification, and an integration flow well enough to talk about them clearly.
- Very organized; nothing you promise gets dropped
- Calm and direct when something breaks - because occasionally something will
- Reliable internet, a working computer and headset, and overlap with US Central Time
NICE TO HAVE:
- SaaS or developer-tools customer success experience
- You have worked with technical customers or supported an API/integration product
- You know what a CNAME and a TXT record do
------------------------------------------------------------
COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
- $7.00 USD per hour
- Full-time, 40 hours per week (approx. $1,213 USD/month)
- Paid every two weeks
- Long-term role, working directly with the founder
- Overlap required with US Central Time business hours

HOW TO APPLY
1) Follow our LinkedIn page:
2) Start your application with the word CUSTOMDOMAIN-AM so we know you read the whole thing
3) Include the name on your LinkedIn profile so we can match it up
4) In 3-5 sentences, describe a technical customer issue you owned end to end and how it turned out
5) Explain a CNAME record to a non-technical customer in 3 sentences or less (look it up if you need to - we want to see how you explain things, not what you have memorized)
We read every application that includes these. Looking forward to hearing from you.
