Account Manager (Virtual Assistant) – Marketing Agency
Employment Type: Full-Time (Remote – VA)
Hours: Must overlap with U.S. business hours (EST/CST/PST)
Compensation: $1,500–$2,500/month depending on experience
Reports To: Founder & Creative Director
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a fast-growing digital marketing agency looking for a highly organized, proactive Account Manager (Virtual Assistant) to support our U.S.-based clients. Your role is to ensure client deliverables move smoothly through our production pipeline, communicate updates, manage feedback, and maintain exceptional client service.
You will NOT be responsible for deep marketing strategy — that stays with leadership.
Your job is to ensure communication, clarity, and project flow.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned client accounts
- Respond to client messages,
- Gather client feedback and translate it into clear, actionable tasks
- Manage weekly check-ins, agendas, and summaries
- Follow up with clients for approvals, information, and assets
- Project & Task Management
- Ensure deliverables (blogs, graphics, videos, social posts) are completed on time
- Create and assign tasks in Asana
- Monitor task progress and adjust timelines as needed
- Coordinate with internal creative, content, technical, and paid media tea
- Track deadlines, dependencies, and revisions
Reporting
- Prepare draft reports using templates (social, SEO, paid media)
- Collect analytics and insights for leadership to review
- Maintain documentation and client dashboards
- Client Satisfaction
- Keep a pulse on client sentiment
- Flag concerns early to leadership
- Ensure consistent communication and expectations

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent written and spoken English (American-style preferred)
- High attention to detail
- Strong project management ability
- Reliable, consistent, organized
- Experience managing accounts or client-facing roles
Comfortable using tools like:
- Asana
- Google Workspace
- Slack
- Social scheduling platforms
- Basic analytics (GA4, Meta dashboards, etc.)
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Worked as an account manager or VA for a marketing agency
- Some exposure to SEO, social media, PPC, or web projects
- Understanding of how creative teams work
- Experience with international teams
