JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Account Executive (SEO & Client Services)

Job Overview
We are looking for an organized, communicative, and SEO-savvy Account Executive to join our agency. In this role, you will serve as the primary strategic partner for a portfolio of client accounts and the project manager for their SEO campaigns.

You will be responsible for understanding our clients' organic growth goals, translating those goals into actionable project roadmaps for our technical and content teams, and ensuring all SEO deliverables are executed flawlessly and on time.

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Strategy Management
Primary Point of Contact: Lead regular client status meetings (weekly/monthly) to review SEO performance, present campaign reports, and align on next steps.
Jargon Translation: Translate complex SEO concepts, technical audits, and data metrics into clear, business-driven insights that clients can easily understand.
AI-Enhanced Reporting: Leverage AI tools and automated reporting dashboards to quickly synthesize raw data into actionable, high-level summaries for client review.
Retention & Organic Growth: Track client satisfaction and proactively identify opportunities to expand scopes of work (e.g., adding content creation, digital PR, or local SEO services).

SEO Project Management & AI Workflows
Campaign Roadmapping: Collaborate with SEO Strategists to turn technical audits and keyword research into structured monthly action plans.
AI Workflow Optimization: Utilize AI prompt engineering and automated workflows (e.g., using ChatGPT, Claude, Zapier, or custom internal AI agents) to rapidly generate SEO content briefs, map keyword intent, and draft client communications.
Internal Resource Coordination: Delegate and track tasks across internal teams, including Content Writers (for blogs/on-page optimization), Developers (for technical fixes), and Link Builders.
Deadline Enforcement: Manage the project management pipeline to ensure deliverables (keyword reports, content briefs, technical implementations) are completed on schedule.
AI-Assisted Quality Control: Fact-check, refine, and humanize AI-generated outlines or content drafts before they go to production, ensuring they align exactly with the client’s brand voice and E-E-A-T guidelines.
Quality Control: Review content and technical recommendations before they go to the client to ensure they meet agency standards and align with the client’s brand voice.

Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a digital marketing or SEO agency in an account management, project management, or client-facing role.
AI Fluency: Demonstrated experience using Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) and prompt engineering to streamline day-to-day project management, copywriting, or data analysis tasks.
SEO Literacy: A solid understanding of core SEO principles (on-page optimization, technical SEO, link building, and keyword intent). You don’t need to be a developer, but you must know how SEO drives business value.
Data & Analytics: Comfortable navigating Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, and industry tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog to review data before client calls.
Project Management Skills: High proficiency with agency project management tools (e.g., Asana, ClickUp) to track high-volume tasks.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for managing client expectations and staying calm under tight deadlines.

What We Offer
Compensation: Commensurate to experience, competitive salary with bonuses tied to account retention and growth.
Remote-first: Work from anywhere in the world
Flexible work environment with supportive team culture
Opportunity to work with innovative SaaS brands
Clear growth paths and skill development opportunities
Transparent, goal-driven workflows
