JOB OVERVIEW

APPLICATIONS CLOSE END OF BUSINESS DAY 9TH OCTOBER

We are looking for a Philippines-based Virtual Assistant to support the business development activities of an Australian foreign exchange company.
This is not a sales or cold-selling role. The focus is on researching suitable Australian businesses, identifying the correct finance decision-maker, and making short, professional telephone calls to verify contact details and obtain permission to send an introductory email.
Key responsibilities:
- Use Firmable, LinkedIn, Google and company websites to research suitable Australian businesses.
- Identify companies that are likely to make international payments, particularly businesses importing products from overseas.
- Identify the CFO, Finance Director, Financial Controller or Finance Manager.
- Verify company and contact information rather than simply downloading large lists.
- Call the company's reception desk to confirm the appropriate finance contact, obtain permission to send an introductory email and confirm their email address.
- Record the receptionist's name and outcome of each call.
- Use Emailit to send approved introductory emails and our currency market commentary.
- Maintain accurate prospect and contact records.
What we're looking for:
- Previous B2B lead-generation or prospect-research experience.
- Experience with Firmable or similar platforms such as ---------- , ZoomInfo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is preferred.
- Good online research skills and attention to detail.
- Clear, confident spoken English and comfortable calling Australian businesses.
- Good written English.
- Reliable internetand telephone with quiet working environment.
- Able to work during Australian Eastern business hours (Sydney +3 hours from Manilla).
- Comfortable working independently and following a clear process.
- Experience researching Australian businesses is an advantage.
Hours & Rate
The position may initially be 20 hours per week, with the potential to increase to approximately 40 hours per week.
Maximum rate: US$5.00 per hour.
