Hello,
I run Falcon Insurance of Michigan, a boutique commercial insurance brokerage focused on delivering white-glove level service to our clients.
Our business is growing tremendously right now, and we're looking for an AMS360 specialist & operations assistant to add to our team. We envision growing with this person and seeing them become our go-to AMS360 expert and one of our main operations leads!
This person must have hands-on experience with AMS360 and a solid understanding of the insurance industry, along with a passion for clean, accurate data.
The winning applicant must absolutely have the following:
Reliable high-speed Internet access
Computer with dual monitors (strongly preferred)
Headset suitable for taking phone calls
Webcam for occasional team calls and screen-share sessions
The winning applicant must absolutely have the following characteristics:
At least 2 years of hands-on experience using AMS360 daily
Comfortable navigating AMS360 customer, policy, and transaction records
Experience with policy downloads, activities/suspenses, attachments, and reporting in AMS360
Previous experience working in Insurance (extra points for commercial P&C insurance)
Understanding of commercial lines (GL, property, auto, workers comp, umbrella)
Experience with data cleanup, duplicate records, or migration projects
Very detail-oriented, and Deadline-obsessed
Fluent in English, both written and spoken (We regularly discuss complicated business insurance with our team and clients)
Able to explain AMS360 processes to non-technical team members
Tech-comfortable (Excel, Outlook, VoIP apps, carrier portals)
Comfortable building and logging details in spreadsheets
Trust-worthy, communicative and reliable
We would like this person to work full-time. It is important to note that the work hours are not limited to 8 hours per day, that is simply the minimum. Your work hours will depend on how efficiently you can work. You will be required to work normal business hours in our time zone. We're open from 9 AM - 5 PM EST every weekday.
The winning candidate will go through a 30-day trial wherein we'll further assess if you're a good fit for the company as well as if it's a good fit for you.
For our company to grow, everything must run on checklists / working procedures. You will be expected to:
Follow step-by-step procedures that already exist
Make suggestions on how to improve checklists and AMS360 workflows (when you see legitimate improvement opportunities - I may say yes or no)
Be able to grasp how the procedures are done, and be able to write an AMS360 procedure when asked to
Projects you'll be involved in include:
Auditing and cleaning up existing AMS360 data (duplicate customers, missing fields, incorrect policy info)
Entering and updating customers, policies, endorsements, and renewals in AMS360
Managing activities and suspenses so nothing falls through the cracks
Pulling and building AMS360 reports for our sales & service departments
Supporting our team with AMS360 questions and training
Helping set up and maintain AMS360 standards across the agency
Updating Spreadsheets
Other Miscellaneous tasks
Timeline:
Starting as soon as I find a qualified applicant; next few weeks would be nice, although I'm not going to rush the process. I need the right person in this position
30-day trial to begin; if we like each other we'll continue
