JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AI Workflow Automation Specialist to join our growing team. This is not a basic virtual assistant position. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining advanced workflow automations using Activepieces, AI platforms, APIs, webhooks, and custom integrations.
The ideal candidate understands how to connect business systems, AI services, databases, and third-party applications into automated workflows that reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
You will work directly with our development and AI teams to create intelligent automation solutions for multiple SaaS platforms, marketplaces, publishing systems, CRM systems, and AI-powered applications.

Responsibilities
Design and build automation workflows using Activepieces
Create custom Activepieces Pieces (modules) using TypeScript
Integrate APIs, webhooks, and third-party services
Build AI-powered workflows using OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and other AI providers
Create MCP-compatible integrations and automation tools
Develop custom connectors when existing integrations do not exist
Troubleshoot and optimize existing workflows
Create workflow documentation and process diagrams
Build human-in-the-loop approval workflows
Design automation for content publishing, CRM systems, lead generation, support systems, and business operations
Work with databases, REST APIs, JSON, and webhook payloads
Collaborate with management to identify automation opportunities

Strong understanding of JSON
TypeScript development experience
Ability to create custom Activepieces Pieces
Experience testing and debugging automation workflows
Understanding of OAuth authentication flows
Git/GitHub experience
AI Experience Required
OpenAI API
Claude API
AI prompt engineering
AI workflow orchestration
AI agent automation
MCP (Model Context Protocol) knowledge preferred
