JOB OVERVIEW

AI VIDEO PRODUCER & EDITOR - UGC, VSL & ANIMATION ADS
Remote | Project based, paid per batch | Start: ASAP | $40 - $110 per batch

READ THIS FIRST

This job post is long. That is on purpose.

I am hiring ONE person. I would rather get 5 serious applications than 200 lazy ones. If you send the same message to 40 job posts a day, close this now - you will not get through.

But please do not be scared off either. You will not be inventing anything. You get the script, the reference ad, the format specs and every tool paid for. What you need is to already be good at this, and to deliver on time.

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

ABOUT US

We run five direct-response e-commerce brands on Shopify. We sell physical products to customers in the United States, and we advertise on Facebook and Instagram at a four-figure daily budget.

Every single ad we run is produced with AI. No film crew, no studio, no actors. That is the whole model.

THE BIG IDEA - WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS MORE THAN A NORMAL EDITING JOB

Right now our creative output is the bottleneck. Not the budget, not the products, not the audience - the number of finished ads we can put in front of people.

That is a strange and very specific problem to have: we can fund more ad spend than we can produce ads for. Every week we do not ship enough new creatives is a week we leave money on the table, because in paid advertising creatives burn out. An ad that prints money today is tired in three weeks, and if there is nothing new to replace it, the whole account cools down.

So the number of ads you deliver is not a production statistic. It is the ceiling on how big this business can get. That is the job.

Concretely: we want to go from a handful of finished ads per week to 15-20 finished ads per week within your first 60 days, without the quality dropping.

This is a doer role, not a manager role. You produce. Nobody reports to you and you do not build a team. If that changes later, it changes because you made it obvious that it should.

WHAT YOU WILL PRODUCE

You must be able to produce all of these yourself:

- AI UGC ads - a generated person on camera showing and talking about a product
- VSL edits - longer sales videos cut to a script we give you
- AI voiceover - written, generated and timed to the cut
- Cartoon and claymation ads - stylized animation, not photoreal
- 1:1 ad iterations - this one matters most, see below
- The cut itself - captions burned in, clean sans-serif, inside the safe zone, hook in the first two seconds, no dead air, exported to spec

Strongly preferred on top of that: Suno-style music ads where a song carries the ad, talking-head avatar ads, and Disney-style animation.

About the 1:1 iterations, because this is the majority of the work and it is where people drop out: we hand you an ad that already works and you rebuild it exactly, changing one variable. Same structure, same pacing, same feel, different hook or different actor. If the reference has a cut on beat four, your version has a cut on beat four. "Close enough" is not a delivery. If you need creative freedom to stay motivated, you will not enjoy this role - and we would both rather find that out now.

WHAT A BATCH IS

We work in batches, not in hours.

BATCH A - Cut only. Ten finished ads from clips and product footage we send you. 15-30 seconds, vertical 9:16.

BATCH B - Full production. Three to five finished ads, generated and cut by you from a script. Usually one concept with hook variations.

Right now we run 3-4 batches per week. That number grows as we scale, and we want the person who grows with it.

Turnaround: a batch is delivered within 48 hours of receiving the brief and the assets.

STOP. READ THIS PART CAREFULLY.

Start your message with the word ORANGE, exactly like this:

ORANGE - Your Full Name

Apply right here through OnlineJobs.ph. Do not email us - we read everything in this system and nowhere else. If ORANGE is not the first thing in your message we will never see it, no matter how good your portfolio is. This is not a joke and there is no exception. Most applicants will fail this, and that is fine.

ACCOUNTABILITY AND COMMUNICATION

This is the part we care about most, so we are going to be very clear.

We are not looking for someone who never has a problem. Everybody gets sick. Power goes out. Family emergencies happen. Typhoons happen. We have zero problem with any of that.

What we have a problem with is silence.

If you are ill, if your internet dies, if a render fails and the batch will be late - send us one message. Before the deadline, not after it. That is all we ask, and if you do it, we will always find a solution together.

Going quiet on a batch is the one thing that ends this immediately. Not because we are strict, but because we plan ad launches around your delivery date and we cannot plan around someone we have to chase.

Beyond that, we expect three things:

- You can already do this. We give you the tools, the budget, the script and the specs. We do not teach you the craft. If you are hoping to learn AI video generation on this job, this is the wrong job and we will both waste our time.
- You ask before you produce. When a brief is unclear you ask first, instead of delivering five wrong ads and then explaining them.
- You flag what will not work. If a script cannot be built visually, tell us before you start, not after the render.

THE TOP THREE SKILLS WE ARE HIRING FOR

1. AI video generation - you already produce photoreal or stylized AI footage today, in production, not as an experiment
2. Short-form direct-response editing - you understand pacing, hooks, and why an ad dies in second three
3. Speed with consistency - you deliver on schedule, and batch number twelve looks like batch number one

WHAT YOU MUST BRING (hard requirements)

1. 2+ years producing or editing short-form video, at least the last year with AI-generated footage.

2. You have shipped AI video in production - for clients, for a brand, or for your own offers. Not tutorials, not test renders. We want to see the actual ads.

3. CapCut or Premiere Pro for the cut, your pick, as long as the output is consistent.

4. Hands-on with at least one serious AI generation stack, and the judgment to know when a generation is unusable and needs to be redone instead of shipped.

5. You work in OUR generation stack, and that stack is built on Polaris. Read the tools section below before you apply - this is the one thing about our setup that is not up for discussion, and we would rather you know it now than on day one.

6. Conversational English, spoken and written.

7. Reliable internet, a machine that can handle the work, and the ability to hit a 48-hour turnaround.

8. Willing to sign a freelance contract and a short NDA before you get access to our assets.

BONUS (not required, but it moves you to the top of the list)

- You have already worked in Polaris, or in a comparable AI ad studio, and can tell us what it is good at and where it falls apart
- You have produced paid ads before, not just organic content
- After Effects
- ElevenLabs or comparable voice tools
- You have built your own generation workflow and can explain why it is faster than the obvious one
- Music-driven ads, avatar ads, Disney-style animation

THE TOOLS WE USE

We pay for everything, including every single generation. You never pay for a credit or a subscription.

POLARIS IS THE CORE OF OUR STACK, AND WORKING IN IT IS PART OF THE JOB.

Polaris ( ---------- ) is an AI ad studio built specifically for e-commerce: you give it a product URL or a product image and it produces UGC-style video and image ads. It generates the footage, it generates the AI actors, it writes the captions, and its ad cloner rebuilds an existing winning ad with one variable changed. That last part is exactly the 1:1 iteration work described above, which is the majority of what you will do here - which is why we picked it.

We have tested the alternatives. Polaris is faster and cheaper per finished ad than anything else we ran, and that difference is the whole reason this role exists at the volume it does. So this is not a preference we will negotiate away: if you come on board, you produce in Polaris.

You do NOT need previous Polaris experience. We do not expect anyone to have used it for years - it is new. We pay for the account, and if you already know your way around any modern AI generation tool, you will be productive in it within a day or two. What we do need is that you are genuinely willing to move into our stack instead of insisting on the workflow you already have. If that is a dealbreaker for you, this is the wrong role and we would both rather find out before the call.

Around Polaris we also work with Magnific and Higgsfield for generation, ElevenLabs for voice, and CapCut for the cut. Those we are flexible on: if you have a faster way to get to the same output, bring it and we will look at it together on the call. Polaris is the fixed point, the rest is open.

Communication runs on Telegram and email. Files live in a shared asset library with a fixed folder structure and naming convention.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

- Every tool account and every generation, fully paid - Polaris included. You never spend your own money on this job.
- The script for every ad - you never write copy
- Format specs and reference ads, so "done" is never a guess
- A proper shared asset library. You will not be hunting for files.
- One revision round per batch, with specific feedback, not vague feedback
- Direct access to the person making the decisions. No account manager, no layers.

WORKING STYLE AND WHERE THIS ROLE IS GOING

- Fully remote. We do not care where you sit.
- The work itself is asynchronous. No shift, no fixed working hours, no being on call. You get a brief, you deliver a batch within 48 hours, and how you organize your day is your business.
- No overlap with our time zone required for the work. We are in Europe and Asia; you will not be asked to work nights.
- One fixed 30-minute call per week, camera on. We agree on the day and time together once you start, and then it stays there. That is where we go through what landed and what did not, where the revisions keep coming from, what you need from us, and what we want produced next. You get direct feedback and we expect you to use it. We also expect you to tell us when a brief is bad or a spec makes no sense - that call goes both ways.
- This is high tempo. We are a small operation scaling paid ads aggressively, priorities move, and a batch that was due Friday is due Friday. If you need a slow, predictable environment, this is not it.
- Where this is going: volume grows as we scale. More batches per week, higher rates, and first pick of the work. Long-term is the point - we are not looking for a one-off gig, we want one person who gets faster every month.

HOW SUCCESS IS MEASURED

Five numbers, nothing else:

1. Batches delivered per week
2. Turnaround time per batch - target: under 48 hours
3. Revision rounds per batch - target: one or fewer
4. Spec compliance - correct format, safe zone, naming, folder
5. Iteration accuracy - does your 1:1 rebuild actually match the reference

We do not measure hours. We do not measure how hard something was.

COMPENSATION (all amounts in USD)

You are paid per delivered batch. Not per hour, not per month. We start low and we go up fast, and we are honest about that instead of promising you a number we do not know you are worth yet.

STARTING RATE - your first batches:
Batch A (10 finished cuts): $40
Batch B (3-5 full productions): $70

AFTER 4 ACCEPTED BATCHES, delivered on time and to spec:
Batch A: $60
Batch B: $110

We review again after that. If you are fast and consistent, the rate keeps moving up. This is not a carrot we dangle - it is how we pay everyone who works with us long-term.

At 3-4 batches per week that is roughly $1,400 to $1,800 per month once you are past the starting rate, and the volume is growing.

Also included:

- Paid on delivery of each accepted batch, every time, no delays. Wise or PayPal, your choice.
- Every tool, every subscription and every generation credit paid by us
- Bonuses when the business does well - when we grow, you grow
- No equity and no revenue share. This is paid work with a clear rate.

Why we start low: we have been burned by portfolios that did not match the actual output. Four batches is enough for both of us to know whether this works. If you are as good as your portfolio says, you are at the higher rate within two weeks.

ENGLISH

Your portfolio tells us nothing about your English - the voice on those ads was generated. So we ask separately.

Two steps, and we are open about both. First, the short recording you send with your application: that is how we hear you before anyone spends time on a call. Then a video call in English, camera on, before we hire anyone. You need to be able to hold a normal working conversation - understand a brief, ask a question back, say when something will not work.

Written English alone is not enough. We have been burned by exactly this before and we are not doing it again.

HOW TO APPLY

Apply through OnlineJobs.ph and start your message with ORANGE - Your Full Name.

Keep it short. We are not asking you to do unpaid work to apply - nothing below takes more than ten minutes, and nothing below is work you have to invent for us. Be specific: vague answers are the fastest way to get rejected.

1. YOUR WORK. Links to 2-3 AI videos or ads YOU made. Own work only - no agency reels, no team projects, no "I was part of the team that". For each one, tell us which tools you used and what your part was.

2. YOUR SETUP AND YOUR SPEED. Which tools do you work in, and roughly how many finished 15-second ads can you produce in a working day? A real number, not "many".

3. POLARIS. One or two sentences, nothing more. Have you used Polaris ( ---------- ) before - yes or no? Either answer is fine, we are not filtering on it. What we want to know is whether you are willing to produce in it as your main tool, because that is how this role works. If you have used it, tell us what you built with it.

4. WHAT YOU WANT TO EARN per batch, for Batch A and for Batch B.

5. A 60-SECOND RECORDING OF YOURSELF SPEAKING ENGLISH. Loom, a voice message, an unlisted YouTube link, whatever is easiest. Introduce yourself and walk us through one of the videos you linked above: what you made, which tools, what was hard about it. No production, no script, no editing - phone camera or just audio is completely fine, and we mean that. This is the one thing you send us that is not supposed to look produced. We are not judging your setup or your confidence on camera. We want to hear how you speak English, because that d ---------- whether this works. Send it as a separate link from your portfolio links so we do not mix them up.

That is it. No cover letter, no essay, no test task. If your work looks right and we can understand each other, we talk.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

1. We look at your work and listen to your recording
2. Short video call in English, camera on
3. After the call: a small PAID test batch on a real brief, produced in Polaris. We set up your account and walk you through it first - the test measures whether you can hit a spec, not whether you can guess your way around a new interface.
4. Hire, starting rate, then the rate review after 4 accepted batches

The test comes after we have spoken, not before. You get paid for it whether or not we hire you. We keep the number of tests small on purpose, so if you get there you are already a serious candidate.

Applications that do not start correctly, or that skip any of the 5 points, will not be reviewed. We are strict about this on purpose: following a brief exactly is the single most important part of this job.

We reply to every application that follows the instructions, and we reply fast.

If this sounds like you, apply today. We are hiring one person and we are hiring quickly.
