JOB OVERVIEW

We're a fast-growing DTC pet health brand looking for a skilled AI video editor who can produce high-converting video ads from scratch.
This is not a basic editing role. You'll be generating complex AI B-roll, product demonstrations, health/anatomy animations, and lifestyle footage of people interacting with our product — all using AI video generation tools. You'll work directly with our creative strategist who provides scripts and creative direction, and your job is to bring those scripts to life as polished, scroll-stopping video ads.

What you'll be doing:
You'll generate AI B-roll footage including realistic scenes of people using our product at home, close-up product shots showing the product in action, medical/health animations showing internal organs and biological processes, and lifestyle footage of pet owners in everyday settings. You'll edit and composite all footage into complete direct-response video ads with transitions, text overlays, pacing, sound design, and effects. You'll produce multiple variations and formats for Meta and Google ad campaigns. You'll work from scripts and creative briefs provided by our creative strategist and turn around edits quickly — we move fast and test a high volume of creatives.

You must have:
Experience with AI video generation tools (Runway, Kling, Pika, Sora, Higgsfield, or similar — tell us which ones you use and what you've made with them). Strong traditional video editing skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro. A portfolio showing AI-generated video work — specifically B-roll, product demos, or anything involving realistic human scenes. Experience producing video ads for e-commerce or DTC brands (not just YouTube content or social media clips — we need someone who understands direct response). Ability to create medical/health-style animations or motion graphics showing organs, biological processes, or scientific concepts. Understanding of ad creative structure: hook, body, CTA, pacing for paid social.

Also goo but optional if you have:
Experience in the pet, health, or wellness niche. Familiarity with Meta Ads creative best practices. Experience working with a creative strategist or performance marketing team. Ability to generate AI voiceovers or work with AI audio tools.

Do not apply if you only do basic cuts and captions. We need someone who can generate complex AI footage and turn it into professional ad creatives.

The base pay starts at $800/mo and will go up overtime based on the results.
