About Sybotanica
We are a fast growing eCommerce brand with our own warehouse and factory in the Netherlands, serving plant lovers across Europe. We move fast, take ownership, and have pride in our work as a team.

We are growing at 130% year on year and our growth strategy largely revolves around video ads.

If we succeed, we'll become Europe's #1 houseplant brand, and we'll know we've made it when we can proudly call 500,000 plant lovers our customers.

You will be working closely with Marvin (Creative) and our 25 person team, including about 10 PH based employees.

Working Hours: available during EU business hours (08:00 to 17:00 Amsterdam time). Can work async in your own time but be available for about 1 meeting per week.

Why this role exists: to make sure great creative ships on time, every time, and to bring AI into our editing pipeline so we can test far more angles without losing quality.

Salary: $1,000 USD per month plus performance bonus, full time.

What you will do day to day
- Edit short-form video ads for Meta and TikTok across multiple European markets
- Edit organic short-form for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
- Build and run AI-assisted steps: auto-cut, subtitling, voice, upscaling, b-roll, variant generation
- Produce variants of winning ads for new markets, offers and angles
- Subtitle and quality-check content in languages you do not speak, using supplied translations
- Own footage organisation, naming, versioning and hand-off
- Document what you build so the rest of the team can use it

What you bring
- Being on time is part of who you are. You treat a deadline as a promise, you build buffer, and you warn people early when something is at risk.
- You care about quality. You do not ship sloppy work even when nobody would notice.
- You are genuinely into AI and want to build ambitious AI workflows into editing. You experiment on your own time and can name the tools and the results.
- 2+ years of experience editing short-form video, ideally direct-response ads
- Strong understanding of hooks, retention and calls to action
- Clear written English

This would be great, but is not required
- A design eye: typography, layout, composition. Able to make a static as well as a cut.
- You have worked in languages you do not speak and have a method that keeps errors out.
