JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an experienced direct-response video editor who can create high-converting Facebook/Meta video ads using AI talking-head footage, VSL-style editing, B-roll, captions, graphics, sound design, and strong pacing.

This is NOT a beginner editing position.

Direct-response Facebook ads
Mini VSLs
Usually under 20 minutes
Fast-paced editing designed to HOLD ATTENTION and SELL, not just look pretty
You MUST Have Experience With:
HeyGen
Higgsfield AI
AI avatars / AI spokesperson videos
Direct-response Facebook/Meta ads
VSL editing
Finding and using relevant B-roll
Captions and on-screen text
Pattern interrupts
Sound effects and music
Strong hooks and pacing
Making AI footage feel natural instead of obviously AI-generated

You should also have a good understanding of direct-response advertising.

I don't just need someone who knows Premiere Pro or CapCut.

You need to understand things like:

Hook → problem → curiosity → mechanism → proof → solution → CTA

You should know WHY certain cuts, visuals, captions, B-roll and pattern interrupts are being used.

A major part of this job is understanding what the script is saying so you can choose the correct visuals, B-roll, captions and emotional pacing.

Has real experience, not someone learning on the job
Can follow reference ads closely
Understands direct-response marketing
Has good creative judgment
Can work independently
Notices small mistakes before submitting
Can take feedback and make revisions quickly
Is reliable and communicates clearly
Can consistently produce multiple creatives, not disappear after one video

This can become consistent long-term work for the right person.
