AI TRAINING APPS BUILDER

Who we are
Blue Ridge Trade Advisory. We help US trades businesses tighten how they train and run the shop. This seat builds small training apps for those projects.

The work
You build training that people actually finish. That means two related lanes:
1) Turn SOPs and training footage into tools — lock-until-correct quizzes, simple checklists, scoring flows, light automations.
2) When we need new short training videos, use AI to help write the script and produce voice/video (you still own clarity, accuracy, and a clean handoff).

You ship a clear MVP from a brief, document it, and fix what breaks. Not phone support. Not a catch-all VA.

Also part of the job
Join project meetings on camera when needed (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or similar), keep simple notes and a living project plan/status, and chase open items politely so the build doesnt stall. Youre supporting the engagement, not running a full PMO.

Hours
Flexible based on client and project work. Often up to about 20 hours/week when a project is active. Not a fixed 8–5 desk job. Need overlap with US Eastern Time for check-ins (mornings ET preferred when possible).

Pay
$6$8/hour based on experience. Rate can go up as scope grows.

Must-haves
- Something you can show: GitHub, Loom, or live link to an app, script, or real no-code build
- Clear written English
- Can work Eastern Time overlap
- Comfortable on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet with a US client team
- One of: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Make/n8n/Zapier + forms
- Ships the brief without inventing a bigger product
- Willing to use AI tools for short training video scripts and AI voice/video production (we’ll name the stack on each project)

Nice to have
- Tally / Typeform / Google Forms with lock or scoring logic
- Google Apps Script
- You’ve built a training or onboarding flow before
- You’ve made a short training or explainer video with AI voice and/or AI video tools
