JOB OVERVIEW

We build AI systems for businesses. Agents that do real work, wired into the tools a company already runs, with the data and infrastructure underneath to make them reliable. Every client is different. The shape of the work is not.

About the role

We are two founders, and we need someone to build what we sell. We scope the work and write the spec. You build it and ship it. You will not be handed a vague brief and asked to work out the business problem. We do that part.

Key responsibilities

- Build and ship client AI systems from a written spec, end to end.
- Write agent skills and the workflows around them.
- Build integrations for a range of tools and systems, over APIs and MCP.
- Design and build the databases underneath, including document search and retrieval.
- Handle inbound events from webhooks and messaging.

Essential skills and experience including:

- Production experience building agent systems with LLMs and agentic frameworks.
- Written agent skills.
- Third-party API integration. Auth flows, webhooks, rate limits.
- Messaging and communications integrations. WhatsApp, email, calendar.
- Document search and retrieval.
- Postgres. Schema design, migrations, queries.
- Strong TypeScript and React.
- Deploying and running your own work. Containers, environments, secrets, logs.
- Daily use of agentic coding tools, and an understanding of the code you ship.

Desirable skills and experience in:

- Python
- Vector databases, embeddings and querying.
- Queue-based event handling, with retries and idempotency.
- Prisma or Drizzle.
- Next.js or Remix.
- Integrating with legacy or undocumented systems.
