About the Role & Your Impact:
As our AI Product Engineer, you will be instrumental in the ideation, rapid prototyping, and scaling of the Cerenity.AI platform. This role redefines traditional development; you will own the entire product delivery lifecycle, from initial concept through launch and iterative refinement, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI to accelerate every stage. Key Responsibilities:
AI-Powered Product Ownership & Delivery: Take end-to-end ownership of the technical vision, strategy, and delivery for the Cerenity.AI platform, with a primary focus on using AI tools to accelerate development and achieve product milestones.

Technical Leadership (GCP/Vertex AI & AI Development Tools): Spearhead the team's adoption and strategic implementation of Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI, and critically, lead the integration and mastery of "Vibe Coding" tools and methodologies within a demanding healthcare context.

Architecture & Rapid Prototyping: Translate complex high-level product requirements for functional medicine workflows into robust, scalable, secure technical designs and detailed specifications, leveraging AI tools to accelerate the design and iteration process.

Collaborative AI-Powered Implementation ("Vibe Coding" Expertise): Act as the lead practitioner and guide for hands-on coding and implementation, demonstrating mastery in using generative AI tools (Windsurf, Cline, Claude, Gemini APIs within VSCode, etc.) as the primary method for development. You will orchestrate AI to generate, review, refactor, and integrate code (primarily Python & JavaScript), ensuring strict adherence to healthcare data standards and security protocols. Your efficiency in bringing ideas to life with these tools is paramount.

Secure Data Integration: Design and implement sophisticated solutions for securely working with diverse datasets, including structured (e.g., SQL databases) and unstructured patient data (e.g., Vector databases for clinical notes, medical imaging), leveraging AI for efficient data processing and integration where applicable.

AI Model Integration & Management: Integrate, manage, and optimize interactions with various foundation AI models (including potentially fine-tuned Large Language Models) via APIs for critical tasks such as intelligent patient intake, personalized protocol generation, and predictive analytics.

Comprehensive Testing & AI-Assisted QA: Define, own, and execute a rigorous testing strategy, potentially using AI tools to assist in test case generation and execution, ensuring platform reliability, performance, and unwavering compliance with healthcare regulations.

Performance Monitoring & Iteration: Implement robust monitoring and observability solutions. Drive a continuous post-launch iteration process based on valuable practitioner feedback, user behavior, and platform performance data.

Proficient with GCP & Vertex AI Ecosystem: You have significant, hands-on experience building, deploying, managing, and optimizing applications on Google Cloud Platform. A strong understanding of healthcare compliance considerations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) within the cloud is highly desirable. You possess deep, practical knowledge of Vertex AI components.

Experienced Developer (with an AI-First Mindset): While traditional programming is a skill you possess, your focus is on how to best orchestrate AI to achieve development goals. You have a proven track record of developing and launching production-grade, cloud-based applications, with Python and JavaScript as key languages you guide AI to produce. Prior experience in health tech or developing applications subject to HIPAA compliance is a strong plus.
