About the role

We run an Etsy shop selling personalized baby books (print on demand). We're hiring one designer to take over product creation long term — this is a real design role built around an AI workflow, not a data entry job with an AI label on it.

The work

You'll be creating complete baby book products — page designs, covers, stories, and listing images — using an AI-based workflow. Full training is provided, and after training you'll be designing books from scratch on your own.

The workflow runs mainly on Kittl for AI generation. We also use Midjourney at times, so experience there is a strong plus. Listing images are made in Canva, and there is one small task that requires Photoshop — it's simple, but Photoshop is still required for it.

Be upfront: the workflow feels complicated at the beginning. There are many small rules and details, and they all matter. Once it clicks, it becomes a smooth repeatable process — but the learning curve is real, and we're looking for someone willing to climb it.

A big part of this job is working with the AI, not just running it. That means writing and adjusting prompts, giving feedback to push the output closer to what we need, and — most importantly — checking everything it produces. AI makes mistakes constantly, and catching them before they reach a product is the core skill of this role. To confirm you've read the full post, begin your application with the word blue. What we're looking for

Experience with AI image tools — Kittl and/or Midjourney experience is a strong plus
Design aesthetic — a strong plus. You should recognize what belongs in a soft, cute baby book and what doesn't
Excellent attention to detail — the most important requirement. This job rewards people who catch small errors, not people who work "close enough"
Strong English reading comprehension — you'll be reading documentation and reviewing AI outputs daily
Canva proficiency
Basic Photoshop
Comfortable following documented, step-by-step processes
Stable, fast internet connection

Schedule and compensation

Part-time during training. If training is completed successfully, the role moves to full-time within a few weeks. Full-time compensation is $600–1000+/month based on performance, with room to grow as the shop grows.
