JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a strong long-form editor who combines editorial judgment with an efficient AI-assisted workflow.

AI can already handle basic tasks such as transcription, silence removal, filler cleanup, and rough cuts. What matters more to us is your ability to decide what should stay, what should go, what should move, and how to make the final video stronger.

Our team uses tools such as Descript, CapCut, Claude, and other AI tools, but you should ideally have your own stack and workflow as well.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Edit long-form video from raw footage through final delivery
• Remove filler, repetition, weak tangents, mistakes, and unnecessary sections
• Improve structure, pacing, clarity, and flow
• Identify strong openings and key moments
• Add B-roll, graphics, supporting visuals, and audio cleanup where needed
• Identify potential short-form clips while reviewing footage
• Use AI to speed up transcript review, cleanup, rough cuts, organization, research, and repetitive tasks
• Build repeatable workflows that improve turnaround time
• Recommend better tools or processes when appropriate

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong long-form editing skills
• Excellent editorial judgment
• Ability to recognize when a clean edit is still boring
• Experience using AI as part of your actual editing workflow
• Your own preferred editing/AI stack
• Ability to independently learn and test new tools
• Strong organization and reliable turnaround
• Ability to make editorial decisions without needing every cut dictated
