We're a fast-scaling DTC company running two brands — one in pest control and one in sports & games — at a combined 8-figure annual run rate and growing 300–500%+ year over year. We operate with a lean, remote, global team and an AI-first culture where every tea ---------- mber is expected to be on the cutting edge of agentic AI tools.
We've replaced the traditional model of separate email designers, copywriters, and retention specialists with AI-native operators who use tools like Claude, Manus, and Cursor to own an entire channel end-to-end. If you think AI means "pasting a prompt into ChatGPT" — this isn't the role. If you're building agentic AI workflows that understand your customer avatars, product nuances, and awareness stages deeply enough to produce entire email campaigns in hours — keep reading.
What This Role Actually Looks Like
You own email and SMS as a revenue channel, end to end. No one is designing your emails for you. No one is writing your copy. You're the operator:

Building and optimising the full flow architecture — welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, winback, browse abandonment, sunset, VIP, and more
Planning and executing the campaign calendar — weekly/monthly sends tied to promotions, launches, and seasonal ---------- nts
Driving list growth through popup strategy, lead magnets, quiz funnels, and opt-in optimisation
Designing and writing every email using AI tools to produce on-brand, high-converting content at speed
Building smart segments to increase relevance, boost engagement, and reduce unsubscribes
Working with the creative team to conceptualise new ad angles, scripts, and creative directions
Reporting on email/SMS as a % of total revenue, plus open rates, click rates, revenue per recipient, and list health
Supporting ad copy and landing page copy as a secondary responsibility

Who You Are

2–5+ years hands-on in DTC email/SMS marketing with proven revenue results (not just open rates)
You deploy agentic AI at a deep level — building AI workflows with rich context about your products, customer segments, purchase behaviour, and brand voice. Not just asking an LLM to "rewrite this email." You should be able to describe a specific agentic system you've built and the output it produced.
Deep experience with Klaviyo (or Omnisend, Postscript, Attentive)
Strong copywriting instincts — you understand direct response, storytelling, and what makes people click and buy
You know what great email design looks like and can produce it using AI — you're the quality filter, not the pixel-pusher
Data-driven — you track your KPIs religiously and optimise based on performance, not gut feel
Self-starter who ships fast in a remote, async environment without needing to be managed

Bonus

Experience building quiz funnels or interactive lead magnets
SMS marketing experience (Postscript, Attentive, Klaviyo SMS)
Managed retention for brands doing $1M+/year
Worked in sports, outdoor, home, or pest control DTC brands

Full-time remote position — this is not a freelance or agency engagement
Async-friendly global team across US, Europe, and Asia
$2,000–$4,000/month depending on experience and location
