AI Marketing & Social Media Manager (Remote – Full Time)

Company: Lightning Bult Electrical, Plumbing & Air Conditioning
Location: Remote (Philippines)
Hours: Full Time – Australian business hours preferred

Lightning Bult is a fast-growing home services company based in Sydney, Australia. We provide electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and pool heating services.

We are looking for a highly organised AI-savvy Marketing & Social Media Manager to manage our digital presence across multiple platforms and help grow our brand online.

This role is ideal for someone who understands modern AI marketing tools, video content, social media automation and analytics.

Your job is to turn our photos, videos and ideas into consistent, high-quality marketing content that reaches thousands of homeowners every week.

Your Mission

Your mission is to take Lightning Bult’s real photos, videos and ideas and turn them into:

• Social media posts
• Short form videos
• Blog articles
• Email newsletters
• YouTube content

You will organise, create, schedule and publish content so our marketing runs consistently with minimal input from the business owner.

Responsibilities
Content Creation & AI Marketing

Use modern AI tools to produce marketing content including:

• Social media posts
• Short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
• Blog articles
• Email newsletters
• Caption writing and hashtag optimisation

Tools you may work with include:

• Blaze AI
• ChatGPT
• Canva
• CapCut / video editing tools
• Mailchimp
• Scheduling platforms

Social Media Management

Manage posting across all platforms including:

• Facebook
• Instagram
• TikTok
• YouTube
• LinkedIn
• Nextdoor
• Google Business Profile

Responsibilities include:

• Scheduling posts
• Writing captions
• Uploading videos
• Monitoring engagement
• Responding to comments and messages professionally

Video Editing & Short Form Content

Turn job site videos into engaging content such as:

• Before / after videos
• Educational tips
• Service explanations
• Customer success stories
• Short YouTube content

Media Library Management

Organise and maintain our Lightning Bult media library so that:

• Only original photos and videos from our work are used
• Files are organised by service type (electrical, plumbing, air conditioning etc.)
• Content is easy to access for future campaigns

Marketing Calendar

Create and maintain a seasonal marketing calendar that includes content for:

• Summer / winter services
• Storm season
• Air conditioning demand
• Hot water issues
• Preventative maintenance

Your goal is to ensure consistent weekly posting across all platforms.

Performance Tracking

Track marketing performance and provide reports including:

• Reach and engagement
• Video performance
• Website traffic
• Leads generated from marketing
• Campaign effectiveness

You will provide a simple monthly report showing what is working and what can be improved.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong experience with social media management
• Understands AI marketing tools
• Has video editing skills
• Is organised and detail-oriented
• Has excellent written English
• Can work independently and follow systems
• Understands analytics and performance tracking

Experience with home services, trades or local service businesses is a plus.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

Within the first 90 days you will have:

• Increased reach, engagement and inbound enquiries
