AI Community & Research Assistant
I am looking for a part-time assistant to help me build and run a beginner-friendly AI community on Skool.
My role is to create Reels and YouTube videos that attract people into the community. Your role would be to help create the value people find once they join.
The community is currently very small, so you would not be taking over an established system. We would be building the system and working rhythm together from the beginning.
This is not a traditional administrative VA role.
What you would gradually help with
- Researching useful AI tools, prompts, workflows and practical use cases
- Testing tools yourself instead of repeating their marketing claims
- Turning your findings into simple Skool posts, guides and experiments
- Creating polls, questions, challenges and beginner-friendly discussions
- Responding to community members and helping them participate
- Completing my existing beginner Claude course as part of your training
- Identifying useful ideas that could become my Reels or YouTube videos
- Recording simple screen demonstrations
- Eventually helping with live community calls once the community grows
You would not be expected to do all of this immediately. The responsibilities would be introduced gradually as you learn and become comfortable with the work.
Who this role is for
You do not need to be an AI expert or advanced developer.
I care more about whether you:
- Are naturally curious
- Enjoy learning unfamiliar tools
- Can research independently
- Communicate clearly in written and spoken English
- Can explain something simply to a beginner
- Pay close attention to instructions
- Are comfortable receiving feedback
- Can organise your work and report consistently
- Are willing to appear on camera in the future
- Take agreed schedules and deadlines seriously
I would rather hire a **curious builder** who is willing to learn than a polished expert who waits to be told every step.
Experience with ChatGPT, Claude, Skool, Canva, Loom, Notion or other AI and productivity tools is useful, but not essential.
How we would work
At the beginning:
- Ideas and posts would go through approval before publication
- You would receive guidance and feedback
- You would complete my beginner Claude course
- You would send a short report after each working day
- We would gradually build a clear weekly system together
As trust develops, you would receive more independence and ownership over the community.
The working schedule would be fixed and agreed in advance. The role requires approximately 20–25 hours per week.
Compensation and growth
The starting compensation is $250 per month for the part-time role.
This is intended to become a long-term position. Compensation will be reviewed and increased as the community, workload, responsibilities and your level of ownership grow.
There is also a possible path toward a full-time role at approximately **$600+ per month** as the position develops.
Current community
- Hosted on Skool
- Focused on AI beginners and non-technical people
- One complete Claude course already available
- Approximately 10 modules and 40 lessons
- Currently at an early stage with only a few members
- Freemium model, with future paid classes and products possible
This is an opportunity to help shape the community from the beginning rather than joining after everything has already been d
How to apply
Please do not send a long generic cover letter.
Start your application message with the **two-word phrase used earlier in this advertisement to describe the kind of person I would rather hire (the sentence starts with "I would rather hire...")**
Then answer this question in no more than four sentences:
What is something you taught yourself recently, and how did you learn it?
Also include:
- Your current work situation
- The fixed daily hours you could commit to
- Your earliest possible starting date
Candidates who appear suitable will be invited to complete a more detailed application form.
