JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced AI automation specialist to help us build a suite of practical AI agents and workflows for a fast-growing ecommerce business.

This is initially a project-based role, with the potential for regular weekly work if the first phase goes well.

The main goal is to create useful AI agents that help us make better decisions across stock management, forecasting, product performance, and marketing analysis. We are not looking for someone to simply connect tools together. We need someone who can understand ecommerce data, ask the right questions, and build workflows that produce clear, reliable outputs.

What you’ll be working on

You will help create AI agents and automation workflows for areas such as:

* Stock management and reorder planning
* Inventory forecasting based on sales trends, current stock, incoming stock, and lead times
* Product performance analysis
* Identifying bestsellers, slow movers, stock risks, and growth opportunities
* Weekly performance summaries across products, categories, and marketing channels
* Marketing analysis, including Meta ads, email performance, customer behaviour, and campaign results
* Creating repeatable workflows that can turn exported data into useful recommendations
* Building simple dashboards, reports, or structured outputs that are easy for a non-technical team to use
* Documenting how each agent works so the business can keep using and improving them

Example projects

Examples of the types of agents we may want to build include:

* A stock forecasting agent that reviews sales velocity, current inventory, incoming stock, supplier lead times, and recommends reorder quantities
* A product performance agent that identifies which products are growing, declining, overstocked, or understocked
* A weekly ecommerce analyst agent that reviews sales, conversion rate, average order value, top products, ad performance, and highlights key actions
* A marketing performance agent that reviews campaign exports and explains what changed, why it may have changed, and what we should test next
* A pre-order planning agent that helps us d ---------- whether to continue selling out-of-stock products on pre-order
* A launch analysis agent that reviews new product performance after launch and recommends whether to scale, iterate, or discontinue

Skills we are looking for

You should have experience with:

* Building AI agents, automations, or workflows using tools such as ChatGPT, OpenAI, Claude, Make, Zapier, Relevance AI, n8n, Airtable, Google Sheets, or similar platforms
* Working with ecommerce data, ideally from Shopify
* Analysing CSV exports, spreadsheets, and performance reports
* Forecasting, stock planning, or demand planning
* Creating clear business recommendations from data
* Connecting different tools and APIs where required
* Writing clear prompts, agent instructions, and workflow logic
* Documenting systems clearly so other people can use them

Nice to have

Experience with any of the following would be a bonus:

* Shopify
* Meta Ads
* Klaviyo
* Google Sheets / Excel advanced formulas
* Looker Studio or dashboard tools
* Inventory planning
* Ecommerce operations
* Python or JavaScript
* OpenAI API
* Building multi-step AI workflows

This role would suit someone who enjoys solving business problems, not just building automations for the sake of it.

How we will work together

The first phase will be a one-off project to build a group of AI agents and workflows.

After that, there may be ongoing weekly work to improve the agents, build new ones, review outputs, and support regular business analysis.

We will provide example data exports, current processes, and clear business problems we want to solve. You will be expected to recommend the best structure, tools, and workflow for each agent.
