JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a detail-oriented transcriber to accurately transcribe recorded business meetings.

You may use ChatGPT or another AI transcription tool to create the first draft, but you must carefully review the recording and correct any errors, especially when speakers have different accents or use specialized terminology.

The meetings may cover mergers and acquisitions (M&A), banking, finance, and other business topics, so previous experience with financial transcription or familiarity with this terminology is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

* Transcribe recorded meetings accurately
* Identify and label different speakers
* Review AI-generated transcripts against the original recording
* Correct misunderstood words, names, numbers, and financial terminology
* Format transcripts so they are clear and easy to read
* Keep all recordings and information strictly confidential
* Deliver completed transcripts within the agreed deadline

What we’re looking for:

* Excellent written and listening comprehension in English
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to understand different English accents
* Experience using ChatGPT or transcription software
* Familiarity with M&A, banking, or finance is preferred
* Reliable communication and consistent turnaround times
* Willingness to complete a short paid test

This will be ongoing, as-needed work. The number and length of recordings may vary each week.
