JOB OVERVIEW

AI Customer Service Operator - Ecommerce Support, Supplier Coordination & Automation

WE'RE LOOKING FOR AN AI CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATOR

We run a DTC ecommerce brands. We're looking for someone who runs our customer support inbox, coordinates with our suppliers, and uses AI to do it faster and better every week.

This role is for someone who already uses AI as part of their real work. Not someone who pastes one prompt into ChatGPT and sends the answer. We prefer people who work with Claude and know how to set up agents, prompts and workflows that actually hold up in daily operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Answer customer support emails professionally and quickly
* Handle order questions, tracking, delays, refunds, replacements, and complaints
* Communicate directly with our suppliers about orders, stock, replacements and delays
* Follow up until a problem is actually solved, not just forwarded
* Handle chargebacks and payment disputes: gather evidence, submit cases, track outcomes
* Build and improve AI agents and workflows that automate parts of our support
* Review AI-drafted replies before they go out, and catch what the AI gets wrong
* Build simple reports and dashboards in Google Sheets, Excel or Notion, with AI doing the heavy lifting
* Spot recurring problems with products, shipping or suppliers before they grow

Your job is not just to answer emails. Your job is to solve problems, automate what repeats, and make sure nothing gets forgotten.

AI EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

You should already use AI daily in real work. Concretely, you can:

* Write prompts that produce usable output without 10 rounds of editing
* Set up an agent or automated workflow, for example in Claude, and explain how it works
* Use AI to summarize, rewrite, organize and check support work
* Judge when an AI answer is wrong, risky or off-brand, and fix it yourself
* Use AI to build a report or tracker instead of typing everything by hand

Experience with Claude is a strong advantage. So is experience with support tools like , Re:amaze and Gmail.

SHOPIFY DROPSHIPPING EXPERIENCE IS A MUST

You must have hands-on experience supporting Shopify dropshipping stores, including direct communication with Chinese suppliers or fulfillment agents. You know how these orders actually work: long shipping times, tracking that stops updating, stock that runs out, replacements that need to be arranged with the supplier, and customers who want answers now. Experience with fashion or apparel brands is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS

* Hands-on experience with Shopify dropshipping stores
* Experience communicating directly with Chinese suppliers or fulfillment agents
* Previous ecommerce customer support experience
* Strong written English
* Daily hands-on AI experience, preferably Claude
* Experience with chargebacks and disputes
* Comfortable building reports in Sheets, Excel or Notion
* Highly organized, able to work independently, strong problem solver
* Able to follow SOPs while thinking for yourself

COMPENSATION

The base rate for this role is $4 USD per hour. We start part-time, around 1 to 2 hours per day, and there is room to grow in both hours and rate for someone who delivers.

We reward results, such as:

* Fast, professional and on-brand responses
* Fewer unnecessary refunds and chargebacks
* Automations that save real time every week
* A support inbox that stays organized without supervision
* Problems caught before they become bigger

HOW TO APPLY

Please send:

* A short summary of your ecommerce customer support experience
* How you worked with the suppliers
* Your experience with chargebacks and disputes
* Which AI tools you use daily, and what you use them for
* One concrete example of an agent, automation or workflow you built with AI, and what it saved
* A report, tracker or dashboard you built (a screenshot or link is fine)
* Your weekly availability and your expected hourly rate

Also answer this question:

A customer says their package hasn't arrived, tracking hasn't updated for 12 days, and they are demanding a refund. Describe how you would handle it, and how you would use AI to handle 50 cases like this per week without losing quality.

Please only apply if you have hands-on Shopify dropshipping support experience and already use AI in your daily work. Applications that are clearly one unedited AI answer will not be considered.
