Overview:
We are seeking a Finance & Accounting Specialist in Real Estate segment, to manage our day-to-day bookkeeping while providing critical financial insights to improve cash flow, refine our Chart of Accounts, and help us make better business decisions. This role goes beyond basic bookkeeping— we need someone who can interpret financial data, identify trends, and proactively suggest improvements.

Our work supports underrepresented entrepreneurs and neighborhood-level business ecosystems. We're now building a lean, focused finance team to support multiple active entities.
Position Overview:We are hiring a Part-Time or Full-Time Finance & Bookkeeping Lead (remote, PH-based) to become a key part of our finance team. This role is designed for an experienced professional ready to take ownership of monthly close, reporting, reconciliation, and historical cleanup for multiple entities. You’ll lead our internal bookkeeping functions while helping modernize our systems and processes.
Who You Are:
- Based in the Philippines with consistent weekday availability during U.S. business hours (CST timezone overlap required)
- A self-starter with strong attention to detail, ownership, and follow-through
- 3–5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance, particularly in real estate industry
- Fluent in online accounting tools (Zoho Books preferred; QuickBooks Desktop/Online a plus)
- Comfortable learning legacy systems and resolving past-year backlogs
- Able to commit part-time (20+/week) or full-time (32–40 hrs/week) with long-term growth interest
Tools You'll Work With:
- Primary: Zoho Books
- Supplemental/Legacy: QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online Payroll, Rentec Direct, Square POS, Excel, Microsoft Teams/SharePoint
Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly bookkeeping and reconciliation for 3+ small entities
- Own internal reporting, budgeting support, and cash flow forecasting
- Lead cleanup of legacy data and past-due tax documentation
- Maintain SOPs and financial tracking systems
- Collaborate with other finance support tea

- Full-time monthly compensation: $700 base, eligible for $800–900/month after 90-day review
- $50 bonus per 30-day onboarding milestone
