JOB OVERVIEW

Part-time initially, with potential for a long-term role

MetaCube3D is a Singapore-based 3D printing business working on custom printing, production jobs, prototyping, printer sales, servicing and related technical work.

We are looking for someone with genuine interest and experience in 3D printing who can support our technical and day-to-day operations remotely.

This is not a general virtual assistant role. We are specifically looking for someone who understands 3D printing or has strong related technical experience.

Your work may include:
- Reviewing customer 3D files
- Using slicing software such as Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer
- Helping assess whether a job is printable
- Estimating print time and material usage
- Preparing information for quotations
- Preparing print files or production instructions
- Simple CAD/model modifications where applicable
- Researching technical questions
- Helping troubleshoot printing issues
- Organising technical information for ongoing jobs

Over time, the role can expand depending on your strengths.

We Would Like Someone Who
- Has practical knowledge of FDM 3D printing
- Understands basic slicing, supports, orientation, infill and materials
- Is comfortable learning new technical workflows
- Has good attention to detail
- Able to follow and own SOP
- Communicates clearly in English
- Can work independently
- Is comfortable asking questions when unsure instead of guessing

Experience with Bambu Lab printers, CAD software or running your own 3D printer is a strong advantage, but you do not need to meet every requirement.

Most Important
- We care more about how you think and solve problems than having the perfect resume.
- If you do not know something, we would much rather you say so, investigate and ask than make up an answer.
