JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role

We at JVDB Studios are looking for a GTA 5 Modeler to create custom in-game assets for video content production. This role involves building and implementing custom props, pedestrians, statues, and character models for use in GTA 5-based content.

You will work closely with the Channel Lead and creative team to bring ideas and concepts to life inside the GTA 5 environment. This is a role for someone who understands GTA 5 modding workflows, can work efficiently under deadlines, and is comfortable troubleshooting technical issues related to importing and testing assets.

What You’ll Do

You will receive creative directions and briefs from the Channel Lead and turn them into fully functional GTA 5 models and assets. Your responsibilities will include creating custom props, character models, statues, pedestrians, and other in-game assets that align with the content vision.

You will also be responsible for importing, testing, and troubleshooting models to ensure they function correctly within GTA 5 and related environments. Projects are expected to be completed quickly and efficiently, with a typical turnaround target of approximately four days from briefing to tested implementation.

Part of the role may also involve working within FiveM environments, supporting server-related implementation, and ensuring assets are optimized and functional for production use.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone with proven experience in GTA 5 modeling, modding, and asset implementation. You should be comfortable creating and importing custom assets while understanding how to troubleshoot issues related to models, textures, and game integration.

Experience with FiveM server management or related workflows is a strong advantage. You should also have strong communication skills, good time management, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

This role requires someone who is responsive and available for occasional pop-up requests or fast-turnaround tasks when needed.

Candidate Profile

You are detail-oriented, creative, and technically capable of turning ideas into polished in-game assets. You should be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced content environment.

A strong portfolio or sample work related to GTA 5 modding, custom assets, or FiveM projects is highly important for this role.

Engagement Details

This is a freelance contractor role with flexible working arrangements. There is potential for ongoing work based on performance and project needs.
