JOB OVERVIEW

:art: 3D Animator with AI Image & Video Generation Experience (Mid) — AND Studio
AND Studio is looking for a mid-level 3D Animator who's equally fluent in traditional 3D pipelines and AI-driven image/video generation. You'll take creative direction from leads and translate it into polished 3D assets and animations, using both conventional tools and AI generation to hit ambitious creative bars on tight timelines.
What you'll do:

Model, texture, light, and render 3D assets and animations for branded content
Generate and refine AI-driven imagery and video (e.g. Magnific/Nano Banano, Kling, Seedance) to integrate with or stand in for traditional 3D output
Animate product shots, abstract visuals, or stylized scenes as briefed
Collaborate with motion designers and editors to integrate 3D and AI-generated elements into mixed-media pieces
Manage your own project files and render/generation pipeline efficiently
Bring creative POV to execution — knowing when to model traditionally vs. generate, and how to blend the two seamlessly
What we're looking for:

3+ years of 3D art/animation experience (agency, studio, or strong freelance portfolio)
Proficiency in Cinema 4D or Blender (Octane/Redshift/Arnold a plus)
Required: hands-on experience with AI image and video generation tools (e.g. Midjourney, Magnific, Kling, Seedance, Runway, or similar) in a production context, not just personal experimentation
Solid understanding of lighting, texturing, and composition, in both CG and AI-generated contexts
Independent, communicative, and comfortable with async, distributed team workflows
Working on EST Timezone
Bonus:

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
