JOB OVERVIEW

ORO Design is a US-based landscape design studio producing high-end 3D renderings, 2D site plans, and video walkthroughs for outdoor living contractors nationwide. We operate on a membership model and deliver 40+ projects per month and growing. Our clients are professional contractors who resell our designs under their own brand.
We are hiring a 2D Landscape Drafter to produce scaled AutoCAD site plans that serve as the foundation for our 3D rendering production. You will receive project briefs, build accurate base maps, and design complete 2D landscape plans that our 3D team turns into photorealistic renders.
This is a full-time remote position. You will work directly with our Design Director within a structured daily workflow. The work is consistent, the expectations are high, and the standards are clearly defined.
What You Will Do
— Draft scaled 2D landscape site plans in AutoCAD using our templates and standards
— Build accurate base maps using aerial imagery and property records
— Design complete planting layouts and hardscape plans
— Label all materials, plants, dimensions, and square footages clearly
— Deliver 1–2 completed plans per business day
What We Require
— Landscape Architecture degree or equivalent design education
— Minimum 2 years of professional AutoCAD experience (not academic only)
— Solid knowledge of US hardscape: patios, pavers, retaining walls, pergolas
— Comfortable working in feet and inches — all projects use imperial measurements
— Ability to apply proportion, balance, layering, contrast, and unity in design
— Clear written English communication
