JOB OVERVIEW

We are a Singapore design studio working on fun creations that bring people and communities together.


We're looking for a 2D animator who can take a character reference sheet and turn it into short animations (15–30 seconds) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This isn't just execution work — we want someone who can storyboard, pitch ideas, and tell us when a concept won't work on screen.

Schedule & Pay:
* Hours: Part-time, 4 hours a day x 3 days a week (12 hours/week total). Possibility to add more hour if needed.
* Working Hours: 9AM-1PM GMT+8 or 1PM-4PM GMT+8
* Growth: There is a strong possibility for increased hours or a long-term role for the right fit!
* Salary: $5/hour (paid weekly)


What You'll Do
Animate 2D characters from supplied reference art and style guides
Create storyboards and animatics before production
Suggest ideas for timing, staging, and visual gags
Deliver vertical (9:16) files ready to post, with clean exports
Handle revisions based on feedback

What We're Looking For
Solid grasp of animation fundamentals — timing, spacing, anticipation, weight
Proficiency in at least one of: Adobe Animate, After Effects, Canva animation
Ability to stay on-model and match an existing character design
Storyboarding skills and a sense for what holds attention in the first 3 seconds
Reliable communication and the ability to hit deadlines
A portfolio with 2D character animation in it (required)
Basic sound design or syncing animation to audio
Lip sync experience
Familiarity with social media trends and formats
