About Us:
Dimpey Studios is an entertainment studio creating worlds where humor meets culture. Our content reaches millions of viewers every week across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. We specialize in bringing characters to life in short-form animated comedy skits that feel fast-paced, witty, and culturally relevant.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled 2D Animator who can match the humor, style, and timing of our existing viral videos. You’ll be animating character scenes based on provided scripts and voiceovers. These will often feature talking inanimate objects, exaggerated expressions, and quick comedic pacing.
Responsibilities:
- Animate at least 4 videos per month in our established style (videos are typically 70 seconds long).
- Follow provided scripts, audio, and character references.
- Maintain consistent character design and animation quality across videos.
- Deliver final videos optimized for social media platforms.
- Meet monthly deadlines and communicate progress regularly.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in 2D animation software (After Effects, Toon Boom, Adobe Animate, etc.).
- Ability to match existing animation style and comedic timing.
- Experience creating engaging, character-driven animations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to take feedback.
- Reliable internet connection for file transfers and communication.
Compensation:
$700/month
Long-term position with potential for increased pay as we grow.
