JOB OVERVIEW

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM US Eastern.

PAY: The first month is a paid training month at $500. That month is how we see the quality of your work: how fast you reply, how you sound on calls, how you handle clients and cleaners. If it's working, you get a substantial raise after the first month, to $1,000+/month for the right person, and it keeps going up as we grow. Paid monthly through OnlineJobs.ph Easypay. Long-term, full-time, working directly with the two owners. No middle managers.

We're doing it this way because we'd rather pay a great person well than pay an okay person a little. If you're good at this, the training month is the easiest $500 you'll make and the raise is real.

NO VOICE CLIP = NO APPLICATION. READ THIS FIRST.
Every application MUST start with a link to a 60-90 second voice clip of you talking. We hire from the voice clip. We don't read anything else until we've heard it.
- Easiest way: go to ---------- , press the red button, talk, press stop, then copy the link it gives you.
- Put the link on the VERY FIRST LINE of your message, before "Hi".
- The link must play without a login. Google Drive is fine if it's set to "Anyone with the link".
- No voice clip, a broken link, a link we have to request access to, or an AI / text-to-speech voice = deleted without reading. No exceptions, even if your experience is perfect.
- A resume, portfolio or intro video about yourself is NOT the voice clip. We want the sales call described in step 1 at the bottom.

TWO MORE THINGS ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE.

1. You've already done this exact job for a US house cleaning company. You've worked as a VA, booker or dispatcher for a US maid service: recurring cleans, deep cleans, move-outs. Window cleaning, pressure washing, janitorial-only or Airbnb turnovers don't count. If you haven't worked for a US house cleaning company, please don't apply. We'll skip it, even if you're great at everything else.

2. You sound like you were born and raised in the United States. This is the one part we can't bend on. We're listening for one thing: would a customer in Miami who calls us assume they're talking to someone from the US? If there's any accent at all, even a light one, we won't be able to pick you. No hard feelings, and it's nothing against you or your English. If people often ask whether you grew up in the States, this job is for you.

Spanish is a big plus. A lot of our clients speak Spanish, so if you can take a call in Spanish too, tell us and show us in your voice clip.

ABOUT US
We're Mark and Joey, two 19-year-old college students running Vassal Cleaning, a house cleaning company in Miami and South Florida. We book cleans for nice homes and send independent cleaners to do them. Small team, no corporate stuff, and you'd be the voice of the company. We want someone who feels like a friend on the team: chill, funny, and locks in when it counts. If you're super formal and stiff, this probably isn't for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Booking and sales (most of the job)
- Text every new lead back in under a minute, then call them. Leads come from Thumbtack, Google and our website.
- Quote from our price list (standard, deep, move-in/move-out, add-ons like inside the fridge and oven) and close the booking in our system.
- Handle "that's more than I expected," and follow up with everyone who didn't book.

Dispatch
- Match each booked clean with a cleaner in that area, and confirm both the day before and the day of.
- When a cleaner cancels at 7 AM for a 9 AM job, find a replacement fast and tell the client before they notice.

Customer service
- Reschedules, add-ons and complaints. A missed spot means booking a reclean, not arguing.
- Keep every client's notes right: gate codes, parking, pets, what they care about.

MUST HAVE
- A 60-90 second voice clip on the first line of your application (see the top). We d ---------- from it alone, and we're listening for an American-sounding voice.
- 1+ year booking or dispatching for a US house cleaning company. Name the company, how long, how many cleaners and jobs a week.
- You've quoted cleans by bedrooms/bathrooms or square feet, and you know a standard from a deep from a move-out clean.
- At your computer the whole shift, replying in under a minute. Reliable internet plus a backup, a quiet room and a good headset.

BIG PLUS
- Spanish, well enough to take a booking call
- Cleaning software: Booking Koala, ZenMaid, Launch27, Jobber, Housecall Pro, MaidCentral
- Quo/OpenPhone, Thumbtack, Angi, Yelp or Google Local Services
- You know Miami and keep up with US pop culture

HOW TO APPLY
We read every application ourselves. If it reads like ChatGPT wrote it, we skip it. Write like you'd text a friend; typos are fine. Skip a step and we won't read the rest.

1. FIRST LINE: your voice clip link ( ---------- is easiest). 60-90 seconds. Talk like it's a real call: a lead asks "How much for a deep clean, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, about 1,800 sq ft?" Give a price (make one up). They say "hmm, that's more than I expected." Show us what you say next. If you speak Spanish, do 20 seconds of it in Spanish at the end. Test the link in a private browser window before you send it.
2. Subject line: "Voice Clip - [your name] - [the US cleaning company you worked for]"
3. Your house cleaning experience in 3-4 sentences: the company, the city it served, how long, how many cleaners and jobs a week, and what software you used.
4. Two quick texts, 1-2 sentences each:
a. A client texts that the cleaner missed the baseboards and the shower glass. What do you text back?
b. A cleaner texts at 7 AM that she can't make her 9 AM job. What do you do first?
5. Three quick ones, one line each. No Googling. Wrong answers are fine, we just want your gut answer.
a. Who is TJR?
b. A client says "I'm in the 305." What does that mean?
c. On a Sunday in October a client says "Can the cleaner come after the Dolphins game?" Roughly what time do you book it for?
6. Confirm you're good with the paid training month ($500), and that you can work 9 AM to 6 PM US Eastern, Monday to Friday.

Reminder: no voice clip link on the first line = we don't read it.

Shortlisted applicants get a short paid test call with us.
