JOB OVERVIEW

Remote Position | Long-Term Opportunity | Experienced Applicants Only

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Renewal Specialist to join our team for the long term.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with policy renewals, remarketing, re-shopping, and account manager support. You must be comfortable communicating directly with insureds and underwriters (UW) to obtain missing information, address underwriting requirements, and keep renewals on track.

Please do not apply if you do not have relevant P&C insurance experience. General administrative or virtual assistant experience alone is not sufficient for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Manage P&C insurance renewals and monitor policy expiration dates.
Assist with remarketing and re-shopping policies to obtain and compare quotes from insurance carriers.
Prepare renewal submissions and gather required underwriting information and documentation.
Contact insureds by phone or email to request missing information, applications, loss runs, and other required documents.
Communicate with underwriters regarding quote requests, renewal terms, and outstanding underwriting requirements.
Assist account managers with renewals, client requests, policy changes, and other insurance servicing tasks.
Track renewal progress, follow up on pending items, and ensure deadlines are met.
Maintain accurate records of quotes, communications, and renewal activities in the agency management system.

Qualifications

Relevant P&C insurance experience is required.
Experience with renewals, remarketing, and re-shopping is strongly preferred.
Experience supporting account managers at an insurance agency or brokerage is an advantage.
Comfortable speaking with insureds and underwriters by phone and communicating professionally through email.
Familiar with insurance applications, policy documents, underwriting requirements, and carrier quoting processes.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
Able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines independently.
Familiarity with agency management systems, carrier portals, and quoting platforms.
