Job Title: Premiere Pro Video Editor for Comedy Show Clips (Hourly, Ongoing)

About the Job

I’m a comedian and show producer based in Dallas, Texas. I record my live shows and need an editor to cut them into clips for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Shows include stand-up, sketch, and short form and long form improv.

You’ll clip out one to two full shows per week. Each show usually yields 10 to 20 clips, so expect 20 to 40 clips weekly. This is ongoing work, and there may be other social media editing and clip creation down the line.

What You’ll Do

Watch full show recordings and pick the strongest moments
Cut them into clips, formatted vertically for social platforms
Add captions and clean up audio
Export and deliver finished clips on a weekly schedule
Follow my notes and revise when needed

Requirements

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
A computer that handles large video files without lagging or crashing
Reliable, fast internet for downloading raw footage and uploading finished clips
Experience editing comedy or live performance footage is a plus
Good sense of comedic timing, so punchlines land and clips don’t cut off early

Pay

$4 to $6 per hour, depending on experience and quality of work. Paid weekly via Wise.

Start

The first job is a paid test. You’ll clip out one full show, and I’ll send the raw footage and notes. If it goes well, the work continues every week, Indefiniately.
