About NexusCai
NexusCai is an AI infrastructure company based in Alberta, Canada. We set up Voice AI agents, CRM systems and automations for real-world service businesses: construction, cranes, waste management, home services, dental clinics, med spas and more. Our clients come to us because they're missing calls, losing leads and running everything through one overloaded owner. We fix that.
We're growing, and we need someone who can own delivery from start to finish.
Read This First
If you need a step-by-step checklist before you can start working, this role isn't for you.
We're not hiring a VA to click buttons. We want someone who hears "this client loses leads after 5 PM," works out the whole system that fixes it, builds it, documents it and then teaches someone else to run it.
You'll often get a business problem rather than instructions. Your job is to turn it into a working solution.
What You'll Do
Architect and build systems
Turn client business problems into automation architecture: workflows, pipelines, triggers, integrations
Build and configure GoHighLevel sub-accounts end to end, including pipelines, workflows, calendars, forms, funnels and snapshots
Handle the technical setup: domains, DNS,
Spot gaps and risks before they become client problems
Own implementation and onboarding
Run client onboarding from kickoff to go-live
Manage several client builds at once, with clear timelines and no dropped balls
Write SOPs, build documentation and handoff docs as you go, without being asked
Customer success and support
Be the main technical point of contact for clients after launch
Troubleshoot issues, find the root cause and fix the system so the problem doesn't come back
Explain technical concepts to non-technical business owners in plain English
Lead and train
Coach and train junior team members who will report to you
Review their work, raise the standard and build the playbooks they follow
Help us turn one-off builds into repeatable systems
What You Must Have
Excellent written and spoken English. You'll talk directly to North American business owners. This is non-negotiable.
Expert-level GoHighLevel experience. You've built complex workflows and full sub-accounts, not just edited templates.
Solid SaaS experience. You understand how SaaS products, integrations, APIs and webhooks fit together.
Systems thinking. You can sketch how an entire automation should work before you build any of it.
Hands-on experience with domains and configuration: DNS records,
Project management experience. You've owned delivery for multiple clients or projects at the same time.
Customer-facing experience in customer success, onboarding or technical support.
Experience training or leading others, formally or informally.
Big Bonus (Not Required)
Experience building Voice AI agents (Retell, Vapi, Bland, Synthflow or similar): prompting, call flows, knowledge bases, transfers, CRM integrations
Experience with Make, Zapier or n8n
Experience with A2P 10DLC registration and SMS compliance
Who Thrives Here
You'd rather propose a solution than wait to be told what to do
You document your work because you know someone else will need it
You raise concerns early and come with a recommendation
You care whether the client actually gets results, not just whether the task is "done"
You like building systems that let other people work without you
Who Won't
People who need every step spelled out
People who go silent when they're stuck
People who are happy to "just complete the ticket"
