About us
DecoBench is software that print shops and embroidery shops use to run their business. Inside it is a large library of blank garments: t-shirts, polos, hoodies, jackets, hats and bags. Before a shop can show a customer where their logo will sit, every garment's photos have to be marked and measured. That's the job.
What you'll do
You'll get your own username and password and sign in to our bulk calibrate page. You get your own list of garments, and no one else works on yours. For each garment you will:
- Choose the right front, back and side photos, and say whether the side photo shows the left or right side.
- Apply the dot template that fits the garment, for example the Ladies Tee or Adult Polo set.
- Check each dot on every colour's photos and drag any that landed wrong onto the exact spot, such as the shoulder seam, collar, armpit, hem or cuff.
- Drag the measuring line so the garment's size is right.
- Press Save and move to the next garment.
- Set a garment aside if its photos are missing or bad.
Your work is checked every day
We check a sample of each person's finished garments daily. Saving without carefully placing the dots is caught, and that whole day's work is sent back unpaid. Anyone doing this will be let go. We want careful people, not fast clickers.
Your hours are tracked
You'll clock in and out with a time tracker, and you're paid daily for the hours tracked.
What you need
- A laptop or desktop computer with a mouse. A large screen is best. A phone or tablet won't work.
- A steady internet connection, because the pages are full of photos.
- A sharp eye and a steady hand. Accuracy comes first.
- Good written English, so you can follow instructions.
- Able to work on your own, 6 days a week.
Garment or apparel experience is a plus but not needed.
How to apply
Send a short message telling us:
1. When you can start.
2. The computer, screen size and mouse you'll use.
3. Any past work that needed close attention to detail, such as photo editing, image tagging, data entry or quality checking.
Start your message with the words "Steady Hands" so we know you read the whole ad. Messages without it won't be read.
