JOB OVERVIEW

Small US internal medicine practice seeks a reliable, experienced medical biller. Up to 4 hours/day, Monday–Friday (20 hours/week maximum), at $6–$7 USD/hour. Schedule is flexible, but dependable daily work, timely communication, and daily submission of all complete, ready-to-bill claims are required. Flag missing documentation or other claim blockers promptly and provide a brief daily report of submitted claims and outstanding issues.

Requirements: At least 3 years of hands-on US medical billing experience, including independent full-cycle billing in Tebra/Kareo. Prior internal medicine, Medicare, and commercial insurance experience preferred. Current HIPAA training, strict confidentiality, a secure workspace, and reliable internet are required.

Responsibilities: Claim submission and corrections, payment posting and reconciliation, denial appeals, unpaid-claim and A/R follow-up, and billing reports. This is a dedicated billing position.
