JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT ISAAC HEALTH

Isaac Health is a fast-growing Series A-stage startup specializing in dementia and brain health care through our multidisciplinary virtual memory clinic. Operating across all 50 states, we partner with payers nationwide to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

As we expand, we are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and highly organized Medical Biller to join our team. You will play a vital role in our revenue cycle, ensuring the financial health of our clinic while minimizing billing friction for our patients and their caregivers.

ROLE OVERVIEW

This role acts as a core pillar of our financial operations and revenue cycle management. You will be responsible for critical billing functions, including payment posting, secondary claim submission, benefit verification, and patient invoicing. You’ll primarily support our clinical and administrative teams by ensuring that services are accurately billed and collected, while also assisting patients with their financial inquiries. The position blends financial and administrative precision with a patient-first mindset. The ideal candidate is adept at navigating complex insurance guidelines, resolves billing discrepancies efficiently, and can communicate financial obligations clearly and empathetically to older adults and their families.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Billing & Claims Management
- Manage the accurate and timely creation and submission of secondary claims to ensure maximum reimbursement.
- Execute daily payment posting, ensuring all payments, adjustments, and denials from insurance payers and patients are correctly applied and reconciled in our system.

Patient Financial Services & Invoicing
- Perform thorough eligibility of benefits (EOB) verifications prior to appointments, ensuring active coverage and understanding of patient responsibility.
- Generate, review, and process patient invoices, serving as a helpful resource for patients and caregivers who have questions about their bills or out-of-pocket costs.

Administrative & Revenue Support
- Collaborate closely with the intake, front desk, and clinical teams to ensure all patient demographic and insurance information is accurately captured for clean claim submission.
- Deliver a “white glove” financial experience by handling billing inquiries and resolving disputes or claim denials quickly and empathetically.

REQUIREMENTS
- 2–3+ years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare financial services
- Demonstrated expertise in payment posting, secondary claim submission, and verifying eligibility of benefits
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex billing and insurance concepts clearly and empathetically to older adults
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple financial priorities with a high degree of accuracy
- Familiarity with medical billing software, clearinghouses, EMRs, and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace)
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Must be available to work U.S. business hours (Eastern Time)

WHAT WE OFFER
- Full-time, fully remote role (40+ hours/week)
- Competitive compensation with opportunities for advancement
- A stable, long-term position with a mission-driven U.S. healthcare company
- Training and mentorship in dementia care operations and billing excellence
- Career progression opportunities in revenue cycle management, financial operations, or billing leadership
- A chance to shape the future of dementia and brain health care delivery
