JOB OVERVIEW

Shopify Store Manager – Dropshipping E-commerce (Remote)

We are a growing dropshipping e-commerce business operating multiple online stores. We’re looking for an experienced, proactive Shopify Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, manage supplier relationships and lead a team of virtual assistants (VAs) to ensure our stores run efficiently and continue to grow.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the dropshipping business model, is confident managing people and suppliers, and takes ownership of business performance.

Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple Shopify dropshipping stores.
• Manage, coordinate and monitor the performance of virtual assistants, delegating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Negotiate product pricing, costs, lead times and supplier terms to improve margins.
• Coordinate product sourcing, supplier communication and order fulfilment.
• Monitor orders, tracking information, stock availability and delivery issues.
• Ensure product listings, pricing, descriptions and store content are accurate and optimised.
• Monitor sales, conversion rates, profitability and other key performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve store performance, efficiency and profitability.
• Manage product launches, promotions, store updates and Shopify apps.
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations.
• Resolve operational issues and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements
• Previous experience managing Shopify stores is essential.
• Practical experience with dropshipping operations is essential.
• Experience managing suppliers and negotiating pricing or terms is highly desirable.
• Experience managing virtual assistants or remote teams is preferred.
• Strong understanding of product sourcing, fulfilment and e-commerce operations.
• Excellent organisational, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyse performance data and identify opportunities for growth.
• Comfortable using Shopify apps, spreadsheets and AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
