JOB OVERVIEW

DIGITAL NAIL ART DESIGNER & AI DATASET SPECIALIST

PAY: $4–6 USD/hour, depending on experience
TYPE: Freelance / Project-Based
LOCATION: Remote – Philippines
START DATE: Approximately 1–3 weeks after selection

ABOUT NAILZOTICA

Nailzotica is a beauty-tech platform where users can create customized nail designs using digital tools, patterns, charms, and decorative effects.

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented digital artist to recreate real-world nail art designs inside our mobile application and help organize a high-quality dataset for future AI-powered features.

This role involves using our existing nail design builder, not developing or programming the application.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Recreate nail art designs from provided reference photographs using the Nailzotica app.
- Accurately reproduce colors, patterns, French tips, charms, and decorative details.
- Create designs ranging from simple manicures to elaborate multi-layered nail art.
- Use existing app tools and digital assets to reproduce designs as accurately as possible.
- Prepare and edit transparent PNG or WebP charm images when needed.
- Organize completed designs and maintain accurate production records.
- Categorize designs by nail shape, color, technique, complexity, and other characteristics.
- Follow quality-control guidelines and make revisions when needed.
- Help identify missing digital assets or design elements that would improve the app's creative capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS

- Strong attention to visual detail and design accuracy.
- Familiarity with nail art styles, trends, and techniques.
- Experience with digital illustration, Photoshop, Procreate, Canva, or similar creative tools.
- Ability to learn new applications quickly.
- Reliable internet connection.
- Access to a compatible iPhone or iPad for testing and using our application.
- Strong organizational skills and reliable communication.

Previous experience as a nail technician, nail artist, or digital beauty designer is a plus but not required.

APP ACCESS

Selected contractors will receive access to Nailzotica through a private testing invitation.

You do not need to be located in a country where our app is publicly available.

Training and instructions will be provided for using our nail design builder and organizing completed designs.

INITIAL PROJECT

Our long-term objective is to recreate approximately 1,000 high-quality nail designs across multiple categories.

These will include:

- Solid colors, French tips, and ombré designs
- Patterns, stamping, and detailed nail art
- Charm-based nail designs
- Sculpted gel art and dimensional decorations
- Mixed-technique and elaborate nail sets

We will begin with a smaller paid trial batch to evaluate design accuracy, production speed, and consistency.

Completed designs will contribute to the development and evaluation of future AI-powered visualization features.

COMPENSATION AND CONTRACT TERMS

- Proposed rate: $5–7 USD/hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability.
- Freelance, project-based engagement.
- Work will be assigned in batches according to project needs and available budget.
- No fixed weekly hours, minimum workload, or long-term contract are guaranteed.
- Additional assignments may be offered as our platform grows.
- Strong performers may have opportunities to transition into ongoing digital asset production, quality control, or asset management roles.
- Contractors must provide original work and agree to transfer the necessary commercial usage and ownership rights to Nailzotica upon payment.
