JOB OVERVIEW

Paid Media Manager — Meta & Google Ads, Fashion
Remote · Part-time · Independent Contractor

Read this first
This role is for someone who has run paid ads for clothing or fashion brands, and who knows how to sell clothing without sales, discounts, countdowns or urgency. If your results have come from promotions, or your experience is mainly lead generation, coaching or dropshipping, this role won't be a fit, and we'd rather say so now.

About us
Cocopiña makes feminine clothing for women who love to travel. We're a small US brand and we sell directly to our customers. We shoot all of our own photography and video, so there is a large, organized library to advertise with.

Our ads never lead with a discount or a deadline. The ad has to show why the piece is worth buying: the fabric, the fit on a real body, how it's made, what it does across a full day. Reading whether an ad does that is the core of this job.

The job
You run our ad accounts and make them better. You d ---------- what runs, build and launch the ads, replace what has stopped working, and find what is holding performance back.

The heart of it is reading creative. You look at how individual ads performed and explain what caused the difference: the hook, the format, the angle, the line, what the frame shows. Then you turn that into a recommendation for what we should run and what we should make next.

You won't produce creative or work with influencers. We do want your creative input: angles worth trying, what a hook is missing, what we should shoot next.

Tools and process
Our tools are connected, and automated processes pull and analyze account data, including an AI analysis that runs weekly. Part of this job is refining them, and building the systems that keep performance improving rather than relying on anyone's memory of what worked.

Each week you report on what you're seeing and set the direction: what should run, what should come off, and what we need to create. You work directly with our creative team, telling them what the account needs and why. Once the creative is produced, you build and launch the ads.

Requirements
- You have managed Meta ads for fashion or apparel brands, with real testing experience
- You know how to sell clothing without discounts, sales, countdowns or urgency. We don't run them
- Google Ads experience
- You can explain why one ad beat another. "It got a 4x" is not an explanation
- You can write a recommendation specific enough for us to produce from
- Steady judgment at lower order volumes, where a few unusual days are usually noise
- You work independently. We won't manage the account over your shoulder, and we need someone who runs it without being chased
- Available Mondays, and reliable with a weekly deadline

Preferred:
- Triple Whale. It's our source of truth for performance across channels, and we work from it rather than from what each platform reports about itself.
- You have shot, edited, or art-directed ads yourself. People who have made ads read performance differently.

Optional: Pinterest or TikTok advertising, and a working understanding of SEO.

AI
We use AI for analysis, reporting, and internal work. None of our visuals are AI-generated. Every image and video is shot by us, and we don't use AI to alter or extend our photography.

To apply
Apply through OnlineJobs. Start your message with "Without the discount," then answer the four questions below in the message itself.

Attach two files:
- Your resume, as a PDF
- Your portfolio, as a PDF: ad work for clothing or fashion brands, with what each ad achieved

Applications without both attachments won't be reviewed. Please don't send collections of links, or references to work unrelated to paid advertising for fashion. We review your message and the two files.

The four questions:
1. The fashion or apparel brands you've run ads for: the category, the price point, the monthly spend, and your role. If you can't name a brand, describe it.
2. Two ads from a clothing brand where one clearly beat the other. In a few sentences, tell us why: the hook, the format, what the first frame showed, and what the winner proved about the product that the other didn't.
3. One account you improved without a discount or a deadline: what you found, what you changed, how you knew it worked, and which numbers you trusted.
4. Your rate and weekly availability, including Mondays.
