JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Google Ads specialist to manage multiple accounts with substantial advertising budgets and help generate more qualified leads and customers.

You should be confident owning both strategy and day-to-day execution. Strong Google Demand Gen experience is essential, alongside advanced Search campaign management, lead magnets, conversion tracking, landing-page optimisation, and customer acquisition strategy.

We need someone who can understand each business, identify opportunities, manage budgets carefully, and explain how their work contributes to commercial results.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manage multiple accounts through Google Ads Manager Account (MCC), with clear priorities, disciplined budget pacing, and consistent oversight.
• Build, audit, optimise, and scale Search and Demand Gen campaigns.
• Develop account structures, bidding strategies, targeting, audience segmentation, exclusions, and budget allocation suited to each business.
• Create acquisition strategies around customer intent, compelling offers, and lead magnets, with a clear path from initial interest to qualified enquiry and customer.
• Research keywords, search terms, competitors, and customer needs. Write and test ad copy and provide clear creative briefs.
• Improve landing pages, forms, and conversion journeys through structured testing.
• Set up, audit, and troubleshoot measurement using Google Ads conversion tracking, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and CRM or offline conversion data.
• Use qualified-lead, sales, and customer acquisition data to guide optimisation and budget decisions.
• Evaluate Performance Max and remarketing opportunities where appropriate.
• Report clearly on performance, explain what changed, and recommend the next actions.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Substantial hands-on Google Ads experience, including personally managing several accounts at the same time.
• A proven record of managing significant per-account budgets responsibly and improving business outcomes.
• Demonstrable Google Demand Gen experience, including audience strategy, creative testing, and assessment of lead quality or customer results.
• Experience using lead magnets, offers, and landing-page tests within a broader acquisition strategy.
• Strong knowledge of conversion tracking and how to connect advertising activity with CRM and sales outcomes.
• The ability to diagnose problems across campaigns, tracking, landing pages, and the sales funnel.
• Clear communication, reliable execution, and the confidence to explain recommendations and trade-offs.

Success in this role means increasing qualified leads and customer acquisition while maintaining control of spend and acquisition costs.

HOW TO APPLY

Please include:

• Two or three brief case studies. For each, state the business type, advertising spend, currency, reporting period, results, and exactly what you personally managed. Anonymised examples are welcome.
• At least one Google Demand Gen example. Explain the strategy, what you tested, and the results or lessons.
• The number of accounts you have managed concurrently and the typical and largest budgets you have personally handled.
• A short summary of your GA4, Google Tag Manager, CRM, and offline conversion tracking experience.
• Your availability, earliest start date, and expected rate, including the currency and whether it is hourly or monthly.

Finally, in a few sentences: if an account generates more leads but sales are not improving, what would you investigate first, and why?

We are looking for clear evidence of hands-on expertise, sound judgment, and measurable results.
