JOB OVERVIEW

We run several Shopify stores (home, beauty) selling in Canada. We post 40+ new ads every week, and we need an editor who already knows how to make AI video ads that sell, not just videos that look nice.

Experienced only: 2+ years editing ads, 6+ months making AI video ads for e-commerce. Beginners will not be considered.

What you’ll do

Recreate winning competitor ads with our product: voice, subtitles in their exact style, music kept
Make AI UGC, 3D cartoon and “drama” ads from our scripts and hooks
Make hook variations of our own winning ads
Deliver 9:16 and 1:1 files, ready for Meta

Must have

Real hands-on experience with Higgsfield, Kling 3.0 (or Seedance 2.0), Nano Banana / GPT Image, ElevenLabs
Ads you made that spent money on Facebook or ---------- , not just portfolio pieces

What we offer

All AI tools and credits are provided
Weekly volume: 40+ ads
Starting at $400/month, raises fast based on results
Long term work if it’s a fit

To apply, start your application with the word “ROOF” and answer ALL of these. Applications without answers are skipped.

Send ONE link to your portfolio (Google Drive, Dropbox, website...) with all the ad videos you’ve made. For the ones that ran on Meta or TikTok, tell us the store or brand and roughly how much they spent or how long they ran.
Which e-commerce stores or brands have you worked for? Which product sold best with your ads?
Kling 3.0 vs Seedance 2.0: when do you use one and not the other?
How do you keep the same character, face and outfit across 20+ AI clips in one ad?
A competitor ad has burned-in subtitles and their logo on the product. How do you remove them and rebuild the subtitles in the same style?
What’s your full workflow for a 60-second AI UGC ad, from script to final MP4?
We provide all AI tools. Roughly how many credits do you use for one 60-second ad, and how do you avoid wasting generations?
An ad gets a 1.2% CTR, a good hook rate, but no sales. What do you look at, and what would you change in the video?
What’s the difference between an ad for someone “unaware” of their problem and one for someone “product aware”? Give one hook example for each.
How do you find which competitor ads are actually winning in the Ad Library?
Send one before/after: a competitor ad and your adapted version of it.
Which editing software do you use (Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci)?
How many finished ads can you deliver per week, how fast is one ad, and how many revision rounds do you include?
How many hours per week can you work for us, do you work for other clients right now, and what time zone are you in?

Paid test: shortlisted candidates will adapt one real ad for us (paid).
