JOB OVERVIEW

Hi,

For our Dutch dropshipping business we are aiming to hit a solid seven figures this year. We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager with dropshipping expertise for a long term position.

This is the most senior role in the company after our back end manager. You will own the supply chain across five Shopify stores in Europe, both fashion and general. We are not looking for someone who waits for instructions. We are looking for someone who sees a problem, solves it, and tells us afterwards what they changed.

WHAT WE MEASURE

The role starts part time and grows to full time as our volume scales. We are scaling through Q4 and into next year, so we are hiring for where we are going and not only for where we are today. If you are looking for something that stays small, this is not it.

That is also why we do not hire by the hour. We hire for the volume you can handle. A full time supply chain manager in this role should be able to handle around 400 orders per day. That is the capacity we select on, and we track the actual volume across our stores with an internal calculator that converts it into workload, so your KPIs are measured and not estimated. Your workload and your rate both follow that number.

If 400 orders a day sounds like a lot to you, this role is not the right fit. Please be honest with yourself and with us.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• All open orders across our stores, and keeping outstanding orders to a minimum
• Supplier coordination: quotes, pricing, order issues, and refunds when a supplier fails to ship
• COGS control. Our target is 28 percent per store and above 30 percent is loss-making. This is our number one KPI and it is yours to protect
• Price adjustments when supplier costs move, so margins hold
• Finding and vetting alternative suppliers when a product goes out of stock
• Track123 monitoring, and keeping shipment statuses current
• Daily accuracy on all supply chain sheets. We run AI agents that read those sheets every night and flag what is missing or late, so the quality of your work is visible immediately. Your job is acting on those flags, not writing manual reports
• Quality checks during scaling, and feeding return reasons back to the product research team
• Overseeing cancellations and returns handled by customer support
• Proactively telling CS about delivery issues, address errors and stock problems before the customer complains
• Contributing to our documentation and improving the process itself

PLATFORMS YOU MUST KNOW

• Shopify
• Google Sheets at a daily working level
• Track123
• Slack
• Service Points, our supplier portal for quotes, COGS and order issues. Experience is a plus, full training is provided by their account manager

WHAT WE PROVIDE

• A two week onboarding from the owner and the back end manager
• SOPs and a structured workflow at every step
• Zoom trainings
• Direct training from the Service Points account manager
• AI agents that do the daily monitoring, so your time goes to decisions instead of admin
• Real growth: part time to full time as we scale, in the most senior role under the back end manager

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain management, in dropshipping or eCommerce
• Able to grow from part time to full time as the volume grows
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• A fixed workspace with reliable internet and a backup connection. We have lost working days to connection problems and to people working while travelling
• Available for weekly calls with the back end manager
• Available to start immediately

PAY

3.50 to 5.00 dollars per hour to start, based on your experience. From there your rate follows results: the more volume you handle well, the higher it goes, and the calculator moves with it. Team calls and work outside the regular supply chain flow are invoiced separately.

ANSWER THESE TEN QUESTIONS IN YOUR APPLICATION

Keep each answer to three sentences at most. Short and specific beats long and polished, and we can tell the difference. Applications that skip these will not be answered.

1. Volume. How many orders per day have you handled, across how many stores, and for how long? Give us the number, not a range.

2. COGS. How do you track it, how fast do you catch a product drifting above target, and what do you do about it?

3. A judgement call. One of our best sellers sits at 31 percent COGS. The supplier refuses to lower the price. The product sells 8 units a day. What do you do, and what do you not do?

4. Out of stock. A product goes out of stock at the supplier. How do you find an alternative, and what do you check before you switch?

5. A supplier who did not ship. Tell us about one, step by step, including how it ended. The ones that ended badly are the most useful.

6. Your sheet. Describe your supply chain sheet: which tabs, which columns, what you update daily, and what happens when you fall a day behind.

7. Track123. Which statuses do you work from day to day, and how does that feed your sheets?

8. Proactivity. Tell us about a problem you solved without anyone asking, where you only reported it afterwards.

9. Your setup. Where do you work from, what internet do you have, do you have a backup connection or power, and do you work from different locations?

10. Your situation. List every other job or client you currently have, with hours per week. We are fine with it, we are not fine with finding out later.

Please apply with the word coconut before you introduce yourself. Applications that read as AI generated will not be answered.

Thank you,
Jeff
