JOB OVERVIEW

Finance and Payroll Officer (Part-time)

Hours: Part-time, around 20 hours a week, on fixed days. Remote, with some overlap with Melbourne time (AEST).

About us
Castillo Marketing is a marketing agency that works only with painting businesses. We run paid ads, funnels and video for painters across Australia. We are growing quickly and need a careful, reliable person to look after our billing, payment preparation and cash forecast.

What you will do

- Chase overdue invoices politely and on a set schedule, and keep our billing record up to date.

- Match payments to invoices, and flag anything that does not add up.

- Prepare our pay runs and calculate commission. You prepare the work, and the CEO approves and releases every payment.

- Update our cash forecast every week and send a short monthly summary.

- Send our accountant the information they need at month end.

What we are looking for

- Experience in payroll preparation, collections or accounts receivable.

- Xero experience.

- You have built or maintained a cash forecast.

- Very high attention to detail. You report your own mistakes immediately.

- Clear, formal written English for client messages.

- Trustworthy with confidential pay and client information.
