JOB OVERVIEW

How to Apply — IMPORTANT: To be considered for this position, you must complete the application form linked at the bottom of this job description. Applications submitted only through Onlinejobs.ph will not be reviewed.
**Please note there are no freelancer positions available within our company.
We ask that you do not continue filling out this form if you are only available as a freelancer or are only available part-time.

ABOUT AGENCY HERO
Agency Hero is a digital marketing company specializing in white-label SEO and WordPress services for agencies. A significant portion of our work involves helping local and service-area businesses improve their visibility in Google Search and local search results through website content, on-page SEO, local SEO, technical optimization, and AI-assisted workflows.

We are hiring an AI Content QA Specialist with strong Local SEO knowledge to join our SEO team.

This is not primarily a content writing or SEO strategy position. Our Claude Skills and AI-assisted workflows are designed to produce work close to completion. Your responsibility is to run established workflows when assigned, critically review the output, correct appropriate issues, verify that SEO and Local SEO instructions were followed, and help move deliverables to a finished, client-ready standard.

The right person will have strong professional writing and editing skills, understand Local SEO, and know how to evaluate AI-generated content critically. You should be able to distinguish between an actual problem and a stylistic preference, make efficient corrections, and recognize when an issue should be escalated rather than guessed at.

**This is a full-time employee position, not a freelance or contract role. Candidates should have significant professional experience working for or within a digital marketing agency, ideally supporting multiple client accounts and working within established SEO, content, and quality-control processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

-Run established Claude Skills and other AI-assisted workflows according to documented processes and instructions.
-Review AI-generated and AI-assisted SEO and Local SEO content before approval or delivery.
-Compare completed work against the original SEO brief, client instructions, business information, target services, target locations, and workflow requirements.
-Review service pages, city/location pages, service-area pages, landing pages, blog content, and other website content used in local SEO campaigns.
-Verify that services, cities, service areas, business details, and other local information are accurate.
-Fact-check statistics, claims, credentials, business information, and other information requiring verification.
-Identify incorrect, unsupported, fabricated, outdated, or contradictory information.
-Make appropriate edits for grammar, clarity, readability, flow, natural wording, and publication quality.
-Remove repetition, filler, awkward phrasing, generic AI language, and content that adds little value.
-Check whether content matches local search intent, page purpose, target audience, service, and geographic market.
-Review keyword usage for relevance, placement, natural integration, geographic relevance, and over-optimization.
-Check page structure, headings, title tags, meta descriptions, internal links, anchor text, and calls to action when included in the brief.
-Review service and location targeting to ensure content is locally relevant rather than simply inserting city names into generic copy.
-Identify thin, duplicated, overly templated, or substantially overlapping service/location content.
-Identify potential keyword, service, topic, or location cannibalization.
-Check internal linking between relevant service, location, and supporting content when required by the brief.
-Identify missed topics, weak sections, or insufficient local relevance.
-Leave clear, actionable QA notes when additional changes are required.
-Recognize when an issue can be corrected independently and when it should be escalated to an SEO strategist or another team member.
-Report recurring AI-output problems that may need to be corrected within the underlying workflow, prompt, or Claude Skill.
-Work efficiently through a consistent volume of AI-assisted deliverables without sacrificing accuracy or review standards.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

-Professional content writing and editing experience, with the ability to produce, improve, and evaluate publication-ready SEO content.
-Experience with Local SEO or reviewing content created for local and service-area businesses.
-Reviewing SEO content before publication or client delivery.
-Reviewing service pages, city/location pages, service-area content, landing pages, and blog content.
-Content editing, content quality assurance, or editorial review.
-Fact-checking and source verification.
-Working from detailed SEO or content briefs and following instructions precisely.
-Understanding how services and geographic markets should be represented within website content.
-Editing AI-generated or AI-assisted content.
-Using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools in a professional workflow.
-Managing multiple pieces of content while maintaining consistent quality standards.
-Strong written English and the editorial judgment to recognize whether content is genuinely publication-ready.

This is a full-time employee position, not a freelance or contract role. Candidates should have significant professional experience working for or within a digital marketing agency, ideally supporting multiple client accounts and working within established SEO, content, and quality-control processes.

LOCAL SEO KNOWLEDGE
Candidates should have working knowledge of:

-Local search intent and geographic keyword targeting.
-Service-page optimization.
-City and location-page optimization.
-Service-area business SEO.
-Local keyword targeting and natural geographic relevance.
-Local content quality and topical relevance.
-On-page SEO for local businesses.
-Heading structure, title tags, and meta descriptions.
-Internal linking between service, location, and supporting pages.
-Thin, duplicated, templated, or substantially overlapping local content.
-Keyword and location over-optimization.
-Basic content cannibalization concepts.
-The difference between genuinely useful location-specific content and generic content with city names inserted into it.
-Basic local SERP and competitor review.
-E-E-A-T and YMYL considerations where applicable.

You do not need to be the person developing the entire Local SEO strategy. However, you must understand Local SEO well enough to recognize when content does not properly execute the strategy or instructions provided.

Experience with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Local SEO/rank-tracking tools is valuable but not required for every candidate.

AI CONTENT REVIEW
AI is an important part of how our team works. You should understand that AI-generated content can appear polished while still containing significant SEO, Local SEO, factual, or editorial problems.

You should be able to recognize hallucinated or unsupported information, missed instructions, generic or repetitive AI writing, incorrect services or locations, weak geographic relevance, unnatural city/keyword insertion, duplicated local content, and content that sounds good but does not properly satisfy the intended local search intent.

Experience with Claude Projects, Claude Skills, custom GPTs, reusable prompts, or other structured AI workflows is a strong advantage, but it is not required. We care more about your ability to learn structured workflows, follow them precisely, and use AI intelligently.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
-Excellent writing and editing ability.
-Excellent attention to detail and strong editorial judgment.
-Strong working knowledge of Local SEO.
-Critical review without unnecessary rewriting based on personal preference.
-A habit of verifying information rather than assuming AI output is correct.
-Ability to recognize incorrect or weak service and location targeting.
-Ability to distinguish factual issues, SEO issues, Local SEO issues, instruction failures, and writing preferences.
-Good judgment about when to edit, approve, flag, return, or escalate work.
-Ability to explain clearly why something needs to be changed.
-Consistent adherence to detailed instructions and SOPs.
-Ability to maintain the same review standard across a high volume of work.
-Discipline to flag unclear or missing information rather than guessing.
-Comfort learning new AI tools, Claude Skills, and evolving workflows.
-An efficient working style that balances quality with appropriate turnaround time.

POSITION DETAILS
Position: AI Content QA Specialist - Local SEO
Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Eastern Time
Location: Remote - Worldwide
Compensation: PHP 75,000-PHP 108,000, based on experience and demonstrated skill level.

Candidates must be able to consistently work the required Eastern Time schedule.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Applications submitted through the job platform alone will not be considered. To apply, candidates must complete our application form: ----------

The application includes questions about Local SEO, content writing/editing, QA, and AI experience and requires a short video introduction.

Candidates who successfully complete the initial review may be invited to complete a practical AI Content QA assessment based on the actual responsibilities of the position.

For the assessment, candidates will review an AI-generated Local SEO content draft together with the original SEO instructions, target service/location information, and supporting business information. The task will require the candidate to identify factual, editorial, SEO, and Local SEO issues, make appropriate edits, flag anything requiring a larger revision or escalation, and provide clear QA notes.

The goal is not to see how much you can rewrite. We want to determine whether you can take AI-assisted Local SEO content that is already close to completion and reliably handle the final quality-control process needed to make it publication-ready.

HIRING PROCESS
Application + Video → Initial Review → Practical AI Content QA Assessment → Team Review → Interview → Final Evaluation

Please do not apply unless you are willing to complete the full application process and can consistently work 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Eastern Time.
